Four Peaks Side Trail -Off the Beaten Path- FR11

You have been to Four Peaks and ventured out in the Rolls area but don't let your off-roading end there. At some point, you probably passed this one up! Forest Road 11 branches off of the Four Peaks Road Trail about 3.5 miles in from Highway 87.
This is a fairly easy trail that will wind you north through washes, valleys, and cattle grazing areas. While it doesn't have the allure of Four Peaks, it is certainly worth a few hours if you enjoy the exploration of new places. There are some solid camping spots along the way.
As you head north, there are several branch trails you can check out, or just head to the end of the trail at Highway 87.

Thaks for the look/see. I have made many drives on FR143, but always wondered what FR11 was like. Now I know. Thank you. I will have to make that a destination sometime. Do you remember what the mile marker is for the exit north onto SR87? I was wondering how close it was to the Ballantine Trailhead, which is about MM210. Thanks again for a nice ride.

I don’t know the mile marker but here are the GPS coordinates of where the trail intersects with 87 on the north end. 33.75499, -111.49740 From what I can tell I believe it is about a mile and a half south of the Ballantine Trailhead. Thanks for watching.

I received the tool as a gift a while ago. It came with a mount that it clips into. That mount is just attached with two small bolts. The panel is great. I thought it might be too low and I might hit my head on it but I haven’t yet. Works great.

What brand of rock sliders you got on your Rubicon.

Actually, I am not a super fan of the music myself. Sometimes it really is to cover up dead spots of no sound or wind noise.
