NATO dose not make Europe safer. The conflict in Ukraine was deliberately Orchestrated by US and Germany using Public funds that's a fact. The Conflict has effected everybody in Europe obviously Ukraine and Russia. I don't feel any safer . People happily talking about Nuclear weapons have no idea, the long term damage from depleted Uranium weapons and leaking Nuclear power station is enough to frighten anybody. The Blowing up of North Stream was a Terrorist attack against European infrastructure, same as kirsch Bridge. There was a south Stream which would have brought Russian gas across the Black Sea to South Europe the EU stopped it because Russia owned the Gas and Infrastructure. Now it's Turk Stream. In most of Europe Gas is life or Death in the winter. Get NATO US out of Europe.

No…the European countries are not blocking it of their free will. Of course not. They must do as they are told. The US has a record of simply over throwing governments that do not do as they are told. Remember that there is already an American “garrison” in most European countries. Remember that there is also a covert presence even in the countries that still think of themselves as “allies”

That's the really strange part. Vassal states don't want to be vassal states. E.g. Yemen. But virtually all the EU nations want to be America's bitch. We all understand why the US defends Israel no matter what. Israel's and indispensable extention of the American Empire. As well as its attack dog. The US cannot bomb Iran, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon. Israel can. These forever wars in the ME are hardly in Europe's interest (aside for Britain and France). Yet Europe has waged an economic war on itself for two decades just to please Washington. America's cause is Europe's cause even when it's not. It's embarrassing being a European.

Well, clearly not everyone agrees that the sooner we find out who did it, the better it would be for the world. It would pretty embarrassing. Not for the US, who simply don't care. But for Europe who would have to explain her Stockholm's syndrome and her position of subordination towards the US...
@grisflyt
@grisflyt 28 күн бұрын
That's why "we" don't want to find out. The Europeans would not be able to deal with it. "We don't want to criticize Washington, but also have to." Remember when the US were caught tapping Merkel's phone? The European leaders were having a nervous breakdown. Because on the one hand they had to criticize Washington. On the other, they didn't want to out of fear of ruining their relationship with Washington. This is absolutely insane. It shows how the US has Europe completely cucked. (I don't like to use that word, but there's no more accurate word in this case.) Europe is like a battered wife who won't press charges against her husband, because she loves him so much and is afraid he will leave her if she does.

@@mahbrum Not my most articulate post. But yes, I'm pretty sure the last sentence is accurate. This was in the American news. This concerned Merkel. I also read similar things about Nord Stream. That the EU leader want it to go away. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think you will encounter such (self-)critical articles in Europe. I don't think Europeans want to see themselves as, well, cucks or weaklings or cowards. That very human. We are very good at rationalizing why we did something no matter how stupid. From Wikipedia: Rationalization is a defense mechanism (ego defense) in which apparent logical reasons are given to justify behavior that is motivated by unconscious instinctual impulses.[1] It is an attempt to find reasons for behaviors, especially one's own.[2] Rationalizations are used to defend against feelings of guilt, maintain self-respect, and protect oneself from criticism.

Russia's so called expensive equipment is actually worthless (zero gas going down it) so makes ZERO difference whether its destroyed or not. I have heard views that the destruction of Nordstream was a carefully calculated strategic move by the US, for 2 specific reasons. 1. To decouple energy dependence of Europe from Russia. 2. The discovery of a major Gas field in the Mediterrenean off the coast of Gaza, meant the ability to replace Russian gas with Israeli gas (which is one reason why the removal of Palestinians from Gaza is such a determined goal of the Israelis and the US). This means that Europe will, instead of dependence on RUssian gas, now be dependent on Israeli (US-owned) gas. This makes Europe completely subservient to US interests for a generation. So Nordstream had to be destroyed, and may not be heavily related to the Ukraine war at all.

The USP of NATO is meant to be that when one member state is attacked, the other members are meant to come to its aid against the aggressor - unless of course the aggressor is the main member of NATO. So much for unity of purpose and common defence of interests - those interests can now only really be described as those of the United States. Were it the case that Russia was indeed the aggressor of the incident, we can be fairly certain that NATO would have acted against Russia.

The USA got to dominate control of NATO shortly after its inception, instead of remaining faithful to its original stated purpose of being a mutually defensive alliance - but this is the first I have heard that becoming a member of NATO today involves signing over to the USA the right to come into your own country and set up a considerable number of US army bases, inside of which would be US territory. Why not Swedish or perhaps UK bases in Sweden? I doubt that Sweden got to have a few of its own new bases in the USA in return, in which it bites of a few square miles of the USA. In the UK US bases were mainly for listening stations (which is now done by satellites) and stations for US nuclear missiles pointed at Russia, over which the US had complete control. Such bases have the advantages of being both closer to Russia and further from the US if they are nuked. Given what some generals in the UK and US authorities said just before NATO hostile Jeremy Corbyn was almost elected as UK PM in 2017, it seems likely that another role for these US bases would be to enforce 'regime change' if any election result went 'the wrong way'.
