I stayed here two months ago in November 2022. I have traveled all over the world and this was bar none the most incredible hospitality experience I have ever had in my life. They truly do treat every single guest like a millionaire. I have never felt so spoiled. I will go back again and again. Thank you for the video. It's really like being there again. It brought back wonderful memories! And thank for using subtitles instead of a voice over. It made it so peaceful to watch!

I actually worked on the construction of this resort in 1992. I led the landscape architect's team to soft opening. Since 2009, I have been to Bali for a total of 16 times. Stayed in various parts but I mainly love areas like Ubud, Canggu, Lovina, Candidasa and a few more. Was in Candidasa last March and I still yearn for more. Gorgeous resorts, fantastic food and basically very friendly people.

You asked to share our experiences (if any) with Four Seasons. My love affair started in the early ‘70s at the Four Seasons Toronto Canada. I was in med school at the time and my German Grandmother got it in her head that I looked exhausted and undernourished (typical Grandmother). Anyway, she took me to the Four Seasons as a respite/rejuvenation. I never forgot not only her kindness but the staff as well. I was hooked and made a promise to myself right then and there that that’s the way I wanted to travel provided I graduated (which I did as 2nd in our class of 30). I’ve never looked back since. 😉. Yes, hard work and fortitude pays off! I’ve stayed in many a FS. Oh yes, I totally understand the mindset of the “Aman Junkie” because that’s how I feel about Four Seasons. I know exactly what level of service and accommodation to expect ... and they’ve yet to let me down. 👍🏻

Wauuw! wat een hotel.... het interieur, de houten meubels geven een echte Indonesische vibe. De setting van bet hotel, de oppervlakte... ongelooflijk. Het prive balkon in je kamer me het zicht op Jimbaran bay, ik zie me daar s’avonds wel zitten met mijn boek, of luisterend aar muziek met een goed glas Bollinger grande annee bijvoorbeeld....maar dan het ontbijt...... nog nooit zo een uitgebreid ontbijt en een waaier van keukens gezien... aparte brood sectie (westers, Japans, California madness...) Ben vroeger vele malen in Bali geweest en was altijd mijn favoriete bestemming. Dit hotel nodigt uit om eens terug te gaan. Uw filmische kwaliteiten worden steeds beter. Knap gefilmd. Fantastisch!

If you still happen to be in Bali at the moment, then I strongly suggest you to stay at Katamama in Seminyak. It is the absolute best boutique hotel I have ever stayed in in the entire world. Not to mention, it has direct access to my favourite Indonesian restaurant, Kaum, which is perched on top of Potato Head Beach Club. Otherwise, stay at the Mandapa Ritz-Carlton Reserve and Four Season at Sayan, both of which are in Ubud. I hope you’re enjoying your stay in Bali 🇮🇩

Awalnya bernama The Regent lalu berganti menjadi 4 season bali. desain dan konsep hotel ini sampai sekarang banyak diadaptasi hotel hotel dan villa. Pencampuran arsitektur tradisional dan modern. Penataan taman menggunakan materi yang sudah ada di sekitar, penggunaan bahan bangunan batu, paras, campuran batu kapur dijadikan jalan. Mungkin beberapa sudah banyak diaplikasikan di hotel lain. Namun disini terlihat estetik.

the second you step out the door of the resort you are surrounded by shit. literally 1 step out the door. you are better off staying in nusa dua, its a gated community and the entire area is lovely as apposed to just the property

I think what was shown was beautiful, except the villas I think that was too open for my taste. Don't get me wrong I love beautiful beaches, but I like my privacy that's mean being surrounded by four walls and a locked door when I am ready to retire.

Dimitri James.....you are talking shit! There is nothing shitty about the Jimbaran area. Nusa Dua is a nice, but far from everywhere! Jimbaran is one of the most picturesque areas in Bali, stop talking crap, you ignorant sod! Many people are buying up private villas in the Jimbaran Bay area, there are a lot swanky restaurants and a string of 5 Star Boutique resorts like The Intercontinental, The Ayana and the most outstanding and famous Beach Club in Asia called "Rock Bar", besides Sundara! There is nothing shitty or poor about Jimbaran Bay!

My greatest Four Seasons experience had to be the newly opened Lanai Location. Larry Ellison, the owner of the island, spent a lot of money on the hotel. All of the rooms are "smart" rooms with very high-end technology like Japanese toilets and key cards you can wear as wristbands. We had a gorgeous set of rooms in a more secluded part of the hotel with pretty ocean views. The location was also very special, the entire resort shrouded in gorgeous, jungle-like foliage surrounding the most perfect bay with pillowy-soft sand. The tennis courts were lovely, all surrounded by pretty gardens. Service was perfect (especially at the tennis courts where we were greeted with new balls at the start of our game and bottled water, cold towels, and cold orange slices or smoothies in the middle). The only problem was the food. As of then, the Four Seasons was the only functional resort on the island and the only building besides the tiny city. Food was limited as a rule and the restaurants at the hotel were not great (those restaurants being a Nobu outpost and an expensive steakhouse). It was also hard to coordinate ferry services to Maui for lunch and dinner because they only left at certain times (if we did go to Maui for dinner, we wouldn't;t be able to get back to Lanai). Either way, it was a lovely trip, and I'm greatly looking forward to our sojourn at the Four Seasons Hualalai (Big Island) next year!

It's fun. When you go to the buffet there at breakfast or if you have dinner there at the buffet place make sure you go to the pastry place to the corner right. It's like a hidden secret. They don't have it marked and I think a lot of people don't know about it. The desserts and fruit are awesome.
