I have rosacea so I have to be careful applying makeup so I don’t irritate my skin or cause a flareup. I use the wet beauty blender technique. You actually taught me how to apply that way through your videos. No joke, you changed my life. I was never taught how to use or apply makeup until I started watching KZbin videos. Thank you for what you do. You are empowering people and that’s a noble way of living life. Thank you!

I tend to fluctuate between a brush and a sponge. It just depends on whether I want light or heavier coverage. I've seen others using the damp powder puff and wondered about it. I may need to give that a go, as well. Thanks for this! If you could, please do a tool cleaning video. 🥰

I use your damp sponge technique and it really works well. I think with brush it's more satin finish, with sponge more natural finish, With fingers Matt finish and with damp powder puff glowy finish. I haven't use powder puff for foundation. Definitely, will try.

Thank you, Nina, for sharing these techniques. I typically use a brush or my fingers - usually when applying a tint. I'm interested in trying the puff!

Great video! I am currently color matching Haus Labs foundation, and yesterday I applied with a brush, today with my fingers. It def looked better with the brush! I think Im going to take off my face makeup today and try it with the puff. BTW you have the best skin on KZbin, absolutely flawless!

Then you for your videos, I’ve learned so much from them about applying makeup. I liked the powderpuff application and the finish it gave. It looked like it would be easy to start with a light application and them build it up if more was needed.

Love ur video!!! Gorgeous❤ I would like to see if u can come up with a video that explain the exactly way of blending eye shadows (like use brushes with what kind of motion, how much pressure you pressed in the brush, and how many times it takes to swaps from light to dark or dark to light in what direction, etc)

I liked this video. I have recently tried using the sponge and I now see why it didn't come out the way I've seen it in videos. OMG - I forgot to wet the puff! I like using the brush when I want to be quick and not having to get any tool damp. But I think I'm leaning more towards the puff.

I like sponge with heavier foundations and fingers with a lighter sheer foundation. I can definitely see where the glow was not showing through when you used your fingers but I think it’s because the foundation is a bit heavier. Fingers works great with the Mac face and body foundation. Great video!

I usually just use cushion puff, I don't know you can use powder puff too! And very quick! Definitely will try it. I've been struggling to apply foundation for my cosplay since sometimes I want it to look glowy, but some other times I want it to look matte. This video helps me a lot!

Hi Nina. When applying foundation with a brush (I really liked how it looked when you did it) will that remove or move the contour placed on the face before it? Thanks for your help!!

Can't wait to try. I'm not in love with any application type. Maybe the powder puff will be "the one". Brushes cover better but I can always kind of see the strokes. The sponge looks more natural but it seems like I go through twice the amount of product with a sponge. And I cannot stand using my fingers. I feel like I'm getting my hands dirty with make up AND my face dirty from my hands. I struggle with acne so I really try not to touch my face with my hands ever.

What about one of those clear silicone makeup sponges? The kind that doesn't absorb product at all.

Will the powder puff help with textured skin and fine lines? Usually I stipple but I’m curious about gliding.

Love your channel and all your suggestions I just turned 70 and everything is just not working for him. My skin is so dry I do prep it very well, my face and under eye, but I’m just not getting the same coverage as when I was younger very upsetting. Any suggestions forreally creamy foundations. Currently using, and Estee Lauder, the one in the tube.

I'm loving the damp puff technique! It's like wiping my face after I take my make off lol. It looks gentle. I want to go back to powder foundation cause it's so much easier to apply, but I'll try the puff first and see if I can make liquid work for me. On Amazon right now! 😂...but like seriously.
