Hey, thanks! I did not know about the Crop a Building method. Very neat. I will use that. I hope they add some things, like being able to place wall upon buildings. (So many other little improvements too, but as it is, it’s just such a fun toy.)

I very much appreciate your sharing this but, please slow down because your mouse movement is a huge part of the learning curve and when you go so, SO fast it's very hard to follow what exactly you are clicking on in the various menus. I find this frustrating because I have to keep rewinding a section to try and determine where your cursor is going. If someone wanting this tutorial is in a hurry, let them FF through your video. Just a suggestion. Thanks!

Very nice! Did you know that when you crop the buildings, (and walls), you can crop them down to their smallest one block size? This way you won't see the 2 blocks.

I might be very dumb- but how on earth are you "cutting" the castle walls up and then moving them. I can not for the life of my move any walls once I've placed them down, no matter how short or long I make them. I can lower and raise, that's it. (Bought the game 20th of Dec) Great video!

Click on it, try the right or left click it might be different for your mouse. You will see a symbol with arrows. Grab that, hold onto it and move it. Releasing will drop it. If you need further clarification let me know!

@@TinyBlocksmith Cube Shape Object example: for stairs just create 10 cubes and adjust them how you need, no walls that snap somewhere or has limits etc. yeah something like that would help builöd bridges easy as well. thank you

Method 4: Why are my stairs so skinny?? In the video they get fatter when they're cut but mine are still super skinny! WHY?! 😭😭

If you are cutting them, they will be skinny. All we are doing with that cropping method is making the wall an easy stair, but its still a wall. If you are referring to the "fatness" of the stair lengthwise, you will have to manually take each piece and stretch the two end points apart to get the length you want. The 'cropping' method is just an easy skinny stair, more for a quick spiral. If you are referring to the thickness of the stair itself, you may want to use a floor for a chunkier stair, or you could line up a few walls side by side to make the stair appear thicker. Does that answer your question?

​@@TinyBlocksmith Hm so many widths and length references lol Ok so when you make the railing, when you cut it it's still just the thickness of 1 brick. It's skinny. When you make the stairs, somehow when you cut them they are 2 bricks wide making them look chunky. Yet you make them with the same method?! When I do it they are only turning out thin like your railing. I see no difference in the way you do them and yet 1 wall is chunky when cut and 1 is thin??

@@MegaRaked Okay, I want to make sure we are referencing the same bricks: The bricks in the stairs during "building cropping" [4:19] they are two bricks wide. Since the game has a bit of procedural generation, the circumstances have to be just right for certain visuals. In this case, the building I took them from was a round building on the smaller side. Since the building was smaller the curve is more drastic, and to accommodate for that rounded edge, I am getting two bricks. ... Did I get it?! If I still missed what you mean, Ima need a picture or something.

Like what I'm seeing... if you were walking up those stairs you'd see that it's 2 bricks wide from left to right from the angle at which you're looking at it walking up. When I put my camera in this position after I follow your instructions EXACTLY, they are still only 1 brick wide - very skinny!!! I did manage to get one attempt 2 bricks wide but they were SKINNY bricks, so in the end still basically the size of 1 fat brick wide. Does that make sense? I JUST redid it again to make sure I was using the smallest possible column (like, aside from the tiny one I'm using as the middle for which the stairs to go around) thinking maybe that was my problem but no, still skinny. So that's why I'm like ok do they just LOOK fatter on your screen but are actually the same as mine?? 😭/🤣

​@@MegaRaked AAHH okay okay I see!! You DON'T want the visual of two bricks on the wall, you want to walk up and have a wider stair. In that case YES, mine are just like yours. They are skinny. I DID build the first 4 stairs in that line up with method 3 (2:42) because I wanted to show the visual difference between method 3 and method 4. You might have been looking at method 3 stairs .. I probably should have made a more concise visual. It was my first attempt at a tutorial type video. ☹ If you like the stairs perfectly rounded using method 4 double/triple up so they will appear thicker. Otherwise you will have to use Method 3. Great Scott I think we solved it. LOL

Sadly there is no copy/pasting currently in the game. I am making one long castle wall and cutting it apart so that I can just grab and move quicker. Is this what you are referencing? If not maybe I can clarify further if you give me a time stamp to check for you.
