Touch ID is harder to use than with the old button on the front. Can't really see the better screen resolution or see increase in speed, etc with better processor

It’s obviously a personal choice. Aesthetically I really like it. The texture of the outside material of this product is actually nice, well I at least like it. I also like the bulkiness, as it makes it feel solid and makes this iPad feel a bit more ‘expensive’, since the display is not laminated. Overall, this keyboard case is amazing. There is absolutely no lag with the Bluetooth, works immediately. I would highly recommend this case! I am typing this while using this keyboard actually!

Logitech's Keys-To-Go is also an incredible Bluetooth keyboard, with just as impressive battery life. Not charged mine since December and battery still shows green! If they released one of these for the 10.5" iPad Pro it could compete with Apple's own iPad Pro keyboard in that it actually has a damn back cover, something Apple seem to have totally missed with the 10.5".

Purchase mine last year in august 2019 through Apple and works great! Honestly it’s easy to carry around especially as a college student. Only thing the batteries died after a year and 2 months as I use it a lot for school so makes sense. I highly recommend this product though!

Okay, so you WON’T get 4 years of battery life. That’s based on using it 2 hours a day most. Which is basically nothing in this day and age. The good news is, though, that once your batteries run out (in my case it was just under 2 years) they’re SUPER easy and cheap to find on Amazon for less that £5. So no need to even think about/be worried about battery life. Overall, this case is fantastic, I’m typing this on it now actually. Gives my iPad 6 a bit of bulk in a good way, and gives you the benefit of both having a laptop and a tablet. Love it.

Logitech's support (for this product anyway) is abysmal. The company doesn't seem to have any documentation for the Slim Folio available on its web site (despite pointers to folders where instructions and manuals are supposedly found). The support chatbot only coughed up the warranty and the human tech support is unhelpful. Videos like this one fill a vital need.

Bought this for my iPad air for $20 dollars on amazon. Luckily i received a brand new one from amazon warehouse, it was supposed to be a used one. So far I’ve been using it for 6 months every day at med school and the battery is now at 80%. The case is amazing, and the keys feel great. Definitely way better than the original keypad, and its way cheaper. Only downsides is that you can’t adjust the viewing angles and the fabric on the case get scratched a lot, but it’s not a big deal.

I’ve been using this case for a couple weeks now. This is my MacBook Pro replacement until I can save up for a new one. I just have two complaints. For the thickness and weight, I wish it was a hinge case (like a laptop) as it’s not very slim. I have to use a pillow to prop it up to the proper angle. I’ve grown to expect backlit keyboards. To not have one nowadays is torture. But not having to charge it for the life of my iPad is a good trade off. The iPad at my work uses a similar case but you have to recharge it; it uses micro usb. Not having to search for a micro usb cable to charge the keyboard is also a good trade off.

I was literally freaking out because mine went from 80% to 10% in two months. I decided to find the source of the problem but couldn’t find where the batteries were. I watched the video and found them, i just pulled them out and switched both. My slim folio went back to 80%, im pretty happy not gonna lie.. :) hope this comment helps anyone who is going through the same problem. P.s: typing on it rn.

An unfair comparison between the 2017 iPad & iPad Pro. The iPad Pro had an attached keyboard with no case. The iPad Pro keyboard is only a little thinner than the 2017 iPad Logitech keyboard. And the 2017 iPad has Logitech's built in case. Put Apple's case on the iPad Pro & the combination is more in line with the size of Logitech's product. And Logitech sells their combination for $100. But Apple charges $150 for their iPad Pro keyboard & another $70 for their case for a total of $220.

My battery was showing as “red”. I followed the advice of Felica (elsewhere in this chat) and removed the battery compartment. I blew inside the battery compartment and dusted the batteries on my jeans, then replaced. Light has gone green again. I strongly suggest the problem here may well be the battery compartment / batteries not making good or sufficient contact. Worth a try before you actually replace your batteries. Hth.

I got it to connect three times but they were such short times, that I couldn’t even type a whole paragraph. It says to make sure it’s in range and try again. I got the red light once and the blue one once. I’m very disappointed because the slim one I had before was exceptional.

It's not false advertising. It is 4 years if you only use it for two hours a day. if you have your stand constantly connected to your ipad while you are using it, or use more than two hours a day it will die much faster.

I have this exact keyboard case for my iPad 9.7 inch & it’s amazing. Definitely worth the price. I love that it covers the back of my iPad. Looks amazing with the color I have..gold. I have no lag whatsoever when typing with this case, and it feels nice. It’s also not soo bulky. Overall I am really pleased with this keyboard case.

I´ve been using this Slim folio for three years and it worked great, I even rolled all the way down the stairs and the Slim Folio prevented my Ipad from breaking. The Slim Folio got some cracks and scratches but remained working until today (one year after). I think the batteries died but I don´t know the type of battery it uses and how to replace them.

For three years I didn’t need a battery change. Last month I needed to change batteries. Since then, the batteries last less than a day. I even turned off Bluetooth to see if the batteries were draining. Yes, the batteries died. I didn’t connect the slim folio to the iPad, and the batteries still drained. Why does no one say the actual battery you need? Everyone just says button cells.If it's the CR2025 then I'd rather pay more for the apple keyboard. Some people say the batteries only last a month. That means that you're going to have to spend about $7 a month for batteries. I'd rather put the money to a keyboard that you could recharge or doesn't need to be charged.

I have just purchased and started using mine yesterday. Probably the best Bluetooth keyboard case i have ever used for my ipad. There seem not to be any lag with the typing input and the keyboard feels great. I would highly recommend it over the Apple keyboard that costs a lot more without dedicated keys like the lock switch and home button.

Battery port is situated on upper edge of keyboard, on left. Pop open the slot with a dime. Insert 2 - ‘CR 2023 3V’ lithium watch batteries, and you’re back in business! 😀
