Fys back in this time was so rhythmically next level. They were 10 years ahead of their time and still made it. You won’t find a lot of post hardcore, emo, and/or pop punk as rhythmically intricate as fys. They brought a lot of that modern hip hop bounce to pop punk and it’s surrounding genres as well as being able to write a melody and harmony better than any of their contemporaries

It probably didn’t blow up as much as they’d hoped, but if I was scouting for a record label with these kinds of bands, back then and even now, I’d be foaming at the mouth after checking out this album
