Four Years Old! Update on Feeding Tube, Activities, Favourites, and More!

I like to hear your updates! My son came home from Bulgaria almost 4 years ago. He was 17 years old so you would think we are dealing with different issues. Actually, very similar to E. My son was deaf in all the paperwork. We had an ABR (sedated test)...results were normal hearing both ears. Glasses for farsighted and strabismis. His eye did straighten some what with glasses. It took nearly 2 years to get a toothbrush in his mouth. Still no dental visit.😠😖 Again, I do enjoy the updates!!

Thanks! Emrys didn't have anything for her hearing in her paperwork (same with eyes, they said she was too young to be assessed). All her hearing tests have been here. There were other things in her paperwork that turned out to not be an issue but her hearing was never tested there. She's very hard to test though, so I don't feel we've had an accurate assessment. She does have physical issues with her right ear though so I can see the right ear results being at least somewhat accurate.

Thanks for the update, isn't it amazing everything she's accomplished since you brought her home. My little boy hated getting his teeth brushed so I used a reward chart (not sure if she would understand that? Also got him to brush his dolls 'teeth' before it was my turn. Then gave him an ipad while he watched a funny tooth brushing song and I pounced lol 😆
