Ah lockdown. People giving each other space on the street, waterways clearing up, animals coming back in, people teaching each other skills or exercising just for the heck of it. Yup can see why everyone was so eager for it to end.

​@@PianoKwanManjust look how clear the water in Venice was, during lockdown. It might help the planet if we do a lockdown every few years or so. As someone with asthma and bronchitis, going outside for groceries was a nerve-wracking gauntlet every time. So no, I don't look back all that fondly.

Here in the USA, the Trump campaign *actually* ran an ad asking "are you better off than 4 years ago" (!?!).... Besides allowing us a horrifying insight into the number of our citizens suffering from irreversible brain damage or innumeracy, it was a nice reminder of how far we've come.😊

Thank Christ I had no awareness of this when it was going on in real time. HIGNFY just doesn't work with this format. The fact that they're not there in the room with each other, and haven't got a studio audience to bounce off of makes this so stilted.

They did their best...I thought it was wonderful & greatly appreciated the effort put in on an unprecedented situation. I appreciated that I could still enjoy HIGNFY during lockdown. For me...appreciative of anything that made an effort to alleviate uncertainty during those strange lockdown periods. And after all, no one forced you to watch it!
