I want to so important point pls help me ? Is there a way to make multiple holes to fill (or slab, mesh etc.) with subtract from polygon -tool by using magic wand? Something similar like ctrl-clicking line ends or copy multiple elements pressing ctrl+alt while dragging. Now it is frustrating because I have to click every time fill's edge first and after that a hole I want to make. BUT IN THISH VIDEO only one click fill and consecutively 3 click subtract. HOW MAN HOW ???
@four5six8 жыл бұрын
+Yunus Emre Küçük I hope i understood your question correctly.. I think you asked how to subtract from fill with magic wand. The answer to that is that you have to select the fill, and then hold down the SPACE bar, and then click consecutively on each shape that you want to substract (the shapes should be drawn in advance) I hope I answered your question.

How can I find the perforated wall that i've drawn?
@four5six8 жыл бұрын
+Sara Rabaa Options > Element attributes > Profile Manager, as I have shown in the video at 0:35. That is where you can find and edit the profile.
@four5six8 жыл бұрын
+Sara Rabaa at minute 3:30 I show you what options you have to select for your wall tool so it will have the profile you have drawn. I hope it helps.

hi four5six thanx for help you were always my hero, ......i have a problem... i can't change the thickness of this kind of wall so what do i do?
@four5six8 жыл бұрын
+abdu aziz abdu rahman as i show you at minute 3:50 you can set the thickness of the wall when you first draw it in the floor plan. You can later change it by dragging the reference line of the wall further so the wall becomes thicker.

why not use solid elements operations?
@four5six8 жыл бұрын
+bitarmuzik you can use solid element operations as well, depending on what you need. When there are too many perforations, as in the rendering I showed at the beginning of the video, I prefer to use a custom profile.

?? This method does not work well on wall corners, with intersecting walls, or with windows and doors; not it is good with proper bim-modeling, as it gives no calculations for materials quantities, etc. ArchiCAD has had boolean operations for 10 years to do this stuff properly.
