My brother and I have a Belgian Blue bull that we run with our commercial herd, he has been impressive since we bought him as a calf. We've experienced low birthweights with quick gains in the calves, this has allowed us to use him on heifers without having to worry about pulling calves. The only time we had to pull any of his calves was when he bred a pair of jerseys. His temperament is really docile but every so often he'll decide a hay ring is in the wrong place or the calf creep feeder would look better "over there" so he redecorates just to remind you that he's a bull. We keep him on pasture and he gets hay, if we poured feed to him then he'd look beyond ripped like the Belgian Blues in the video but as a grass fed square bodied 1600 pounder he fits in our herd perfectly. His name is Reuben. Good video!
