Thanks for nice explanation. I just can't find any video's describing frequency response analysis (output/input). I would assume that Crosspower PSD/Crosspowers Power and FRF options of Channel Processing are related to that? It would be great if Simcenter will come up with videos describing this functionality.

This article has some FRF description: community.sw.siemens.com/s/article/what-is-a-frequency-response-function-frf

@@SimcenterTesting Thank you for your prompt reply but this link doesn't seem to work. Is it about FRF in general or about its implementation in Simcenter? The latter is what I'd like to learn about.

Are Auto power spectrum and cross power spectrum types of Fourier transform representation
@SimcenterTesting Жыл бұрын
An autopower is based on the fourier transform, but it is squared to remove phase: community.sw.siemens.com/s/article/the-autopower-function-demystified. Both a Fourier Transform and a Autopower are typically calculated based on a single signal. A cross power is frequency function calculated between two separate signals.

What is the difference between throughput and overall vibration in simcenter test lab? Is there a relation between them?
@SimcenterTesting2 жыл бұрын
Throughput is the time waveform recorded directly from the transducer. It can go above and below zero. Overall level is a sliding rms calculation performed over a small frame of the throughput. More info: community.sw.siemens.com/s/article/root-mean-square-rms-and-overall-level

Many thanks for this video. What's the name of this software and how can I have access to it?
