This reminds me of my vacation in Scotland years ago. I was walking the West Highland way in 8 days. In the evenings I went to the local pubs to meet the local people. One day I was in a pub and a band was playing live. It was a festive evening. I asked a local if it was Scottish folk music and he said, "no it is Irish, Irish folk music is very popular here in Scotland because it is more cheerful than Scottish folk music". I thought the music was great and had to continue my way to Fort William the next morning at eight o'clock with a little hangover but had a great night. I like both, Scottish and Irish music. I love your music, greetings from the Netherlands.

You’ve being lied to. The reason the Scottish play Irish music is through the old Scottish musicians never passed the skills of teaching the younger Scottish generation… All because Of a unbelievable Valium & opium Epidemic through poverty & constantly being let down!! I can guarantee the Absolute Most strongest Hardworking folk are the Scottish in the UK. I’m not from Scotland my self or from Ireland.. me mar was Irish & dar scottish & I was born & raised in the place that put the UK on the map back in the day for being the Worlds greatest ship builders….
