I really loved this video. Generally, I’m looking for bats for lower bat speed hitters or bats that don’t require 150 swings to get it going. When I see Chad hitting and you’re advising that he’ll compress the walls, etc. I’m going to get those bats because they fit my skill set. It’s your mixture of using Chad, your hitting and using women hitters gives a well rounded and balanced view of the performance of the bats. I generally won’t hit the balls over the fence but I can drive it or hit it with authority. Thanks again, I look forward to watching your videos in the future.

With SSUSA really starting to compression test bats, I think you'll start to see a lot of bats failing shortly after removing it from the wrapper

@@mx_ata2d642 it depends. 140 compression is really low and most bats won’t last much when dropping that low. Basically depends on the hitter though.

It seems like for guys with faster bat speeds softer barrels compress too much and hinder power. In a recent average slowpitch video he swung a senior bat and he wass barely seeing higher batted ball speeds than he sees with 240 bats. Seeing the data definitely makes me rethink the theory back before compression testing that many Major players were swinging shaved bats.

@@joerapo it also depends on the hitter. Senior bats start out at lower compression and it also depends if it’s a guy squares the ball up or spins it. Guys who square it up will compress the barrel more than a guy who cuts it. Also it’s a terrible comparison when a guy in his early 30’s swings a senior bat.
