Also guys Fowler is the one managing their KZbin channels, editing, and all the other extra stuff. He probably even gave them the idea of doing a thirty day survival challenge. So your basically saying Fowlers work is garbage. Wow.

Love the videos! Being an over the road truck driver I’m gone for 2 months at a time and home for 3 days. Your videos give me a little slice of home while I’m in the truck. I got my wife hooked on watching your videos when I am home. I look forward to your new videos! Thanks for the content and keep up the awesome work! Don't get me wrong I love mostly all the videos Fowler puts out. But the last several have been very boring and not much of what Fowler is known for. He needs to get back to his roots, the 30 day team and 7 day solos were really great just look at the view on the old videos

Shot a porcupine the other day here in SE Alaska. On the musky smell- they have a scent gland on their back called the rosette which helps 'train' wild animals to equate the peculiar porcupine smell with the pain of quilling, so that after a first encounter they are unlikely to do it again. I've found you can irreversibly spoil the whole carcass by getting this scent oil on the meat, so I typically only harvest the front and hind quarters without trying to skin the back, where they don't really have much meat anyways. Thanks for another great video 👍👍

Hey Zack how's life? You are such an amazing survivalist you and Outdoor boys are the only 2 I refer to for hunting , fishing and trapping. I have learned soooo much from you and Luke that one day my goal is once I retire my wife and I are gonna live the remainder of our lives in the woods with nothing but handcrafted home, livestock, garden and whatever else my lord and savior has blessed us with. One day on my bucket list fine sir is to have the pleasure to meet you and all whom are on your team. Especially I would love to meet Chris. What a cool guy he is. Is seems like so much fun to hang out with. You sir seem like so so much fun to hang out with to. And hey ya never know I might look into a small plot in your area. Speaking of flies , I like to whip finish a loop on the bottom of those quills and then use em as stealthy strike indicators ( that's a snobby way to say bobbers in front of worm dunkers) . For heavier nymphs several quills can be used simultaneously. Tight lines 👍

Great video, as always! I think You should try making a dark gun with those quills as the points, or maybe even as the entire dart. Years ago my uncle got a porcupine that was eating at his garden, he saved almost every thing he could, I even have a paw he cured like a rabbit foot, the quills fit in a .177 pellet gun perfectly, and shot with a surprising amount of accuracy. We did all sorts of stuff with them, the most notably was we cut open a glow stick, mixed the two parts, and injected it into one of the quills, when they hit anything hard the burst like a paintball, we wanted to know what would happen with a soft target, but we didn't have anything, couldn't afford ballistic gel online, and didn't know you could make it, maybe you could see what it'd look like?
