We live in the South and people work until late in the day, not getting home until 5pm to 6pm so people would be farming in the dark and mowing their own lawns in the dark. No one wants it to get dark before 8:30pm. How would working people get things done in the summer??

I live in Southern Nevada, with 115 degree weather during the Summer, we have no use to 'save' any of it. The local state of Arizona never change theirs for the same reason. Out of personal protest I have kept a clock preeminently on Arizona time all year around. Nevada is a large state with two different climates in Reno in the North and Las Vegas in the South approximately 400 miles away. The state voted for Day Light Savings time to accommodate California visitors. Us long time Nevada residents are sick and tired of crazy Californians affecting our politics. This is just one example of their intrusion.
