Magni, Thanks for your question. I do not know, because I've never tried. However, if the artic fox eats hare och rabbit, I would bet on that is works. When it comes to mink I'm not that sure. Today I use .308W, but thats mainly because often when I hunt fox I want to be prepared for wild boar as well. Should I go for only fox it would be enough with a smaller caliber, maybe 22-250 or .25-06 would be fun to use. This does not fit me other hunts... ...so for no it-s .308W, but I would think that I in the short future change this barrel to 6,5x55, a caliber I really love... ;-) Regards, Tobias

And killing a fox was for what purpose?

Because the fox eat a lot of roe deer fawn and also domestic lamb. By lowering the population of fox, we can keep the sheep farmers happy and also get out more venison from the area. Simple math. However, we do want to have fox, we only keep down the population. Thansk for asking, Tobias
