Clydes run on first down to seal the win was amazing. He took half of the Bama defense with him. He played with the heart of a warrior in this game. Burrow also should’ve wrapped up the Heisman last night. The way he took the field on those last two scoring drives so calmly and answered the call when his team needed him was awesome. He has had clutch drive after clutch drive this year.

LSU will be number 1 this weak, but don’t get it twist. Put name aside, OSU demoralized everyone they played including the committees #13 and #20. The reason why OSU initially got put up at 1 was because their opponent win percentage was highest in the nation, even though LSU had beaten 3 higher ranked opponents, the rest of the schedule was held by teams with .500 or less records. Most of OSUs teams have winning records. However, this win will put LSU at 1. OSU still has 3 solid ranked games coming up tough, where as LSU has 2 I believe, so we will see. I personally hope they both get to the championship. LSU and OSU are by far the best teams this year when you look at all the data, and not unscientific bias.

Great game by both teams. Both teams are ridiculously good. The fact that LSU came to Alabama's own stadium and almost scored 50 points is a bit mindboggling. But the two big Alabama mistakes in the 1st half were huge (Tua's fumble in the redzone and the Alabama punter muffing the long snap). Take away those two mistakes and Alabama wins imo.

Of course you probably didn't notice that the Heisman worthy QB from LSU saw 12 Alabama players on the field and quick snapped the ball. Knowing he had a free play he tried to force a pass in that if it got picked off it wouldn't count. A pass he wouldn't have thrown with only 11 defensive players on the field. And yes he is that smart and does pay that much attention.

Agreed. If that game goes another quarter Bama probably wins. They outscored LSU 28-13 in the 2nd half, their issue was they made extremely amateur mistakes throughout the first half and were down 20. That's the game and you have to tip your hat to LSU's great performance. I think it's crazy that these guys talking here are acting like LSU is so much better and that they blew Bama out, though. Bama played a so-so game overall for them (bad first half but good second half), LSU played the best game they could possibly play, and LSU still barely won.

Tua threw for over 400 yards ...it was a tale of 2 halfs...the game ended close because in the end IT WAS close. Tua was injured and couldn't practice and prepare for over 2 weeks. The offense was off in the beginning. I hope Bama gets a chance in the playoffs as a healthy prepared team.

Kevin Lee The game was close in the end because Bama came back in the 2nd half. If Bama didn’t have those 2 crazy give me touch downs off turnovers when a ghost stripped the ball from Tua and a ghost made the punter miss a perfectly hiked ball then Bama wins. The what if goes both ways. The 2 teams were evenly matched. The difference was that Bamas offense was off due to 21 days where Tua was basically sidelined due to injury.
