Great review. Just ordered my son and I one each and was very lucky because most places are sold out. No so much with the skin yet so will have to keep my eyes peeled. It’s my first ever bivvy and I can’t wait to get out there. If nothing else at least I can blank in comfort.

Hi. I’ve had this one for a while but find it a pain trying to get the groundsheet in the right orientation so more often than not just make it flat then put my kit in. Is there a way of knowing? I can’t see any marks on it like an arrow pointing to the front. Thanks. Mat

I haven't been able to find the wrap in stock anywhere since summer when I got mine. at only £68 it goes out of stock instantly which is a shame
@MarksCarpFishingDiary3 жыл бұрын
Hi, yep a few people have mentioned that to be fair. hopefully, fox will stock up and them again soon.
@c0n0rr0b3 жыл бұрын
@@MarksCarpFishingDiary I managed to get an overwrap from the FatFish tackle website mate if you are still looking hopefully they still have one. There must be shops that have the odd one in stock since its not a well known bivvy compared to others.

Totally agree mate. I have the Fox eosTT pro 2man bivvy, I don't have an overwrap but doing fine without it.

Hey, what about rain, if you have ground sheet on, does it close well or there are some gaps where water can go in?
@oobenoob9 ай бұрын
Did you get the overwrap? And did you review it?
@barr682 жыл бұрын
Hi I just bought one and am stumped on what way the ground sheet is meant to sit I've tried it in most positions and can't get the velcro to line up. Had you any problems wit it?
@MarksCarpFishingDiary2 жыл бұрын
yep, had a similar issue my self to be honest. I usually put it all together with the tension poles and just 1 peg in the back then find the right way that it goes in then eg the rest down. if I am being honest I dont use the groundsheet much.

Hi, I have a problem with choosing Bivvy, so please help me :) Looking for the budget one.. 1. Fox eos 2 man 8000hh - 270euros 2. Jrc defender 2 man 5000hh - 180euros What do you think? Which one should I go with? Thanks
@MarksCarpFishingDiary3 жыл бұрын
Hey man, honestly there are both decent bivvies, I haven't owned the JRC one but I know from other people that they are good. I personally chose the fox eos 2 as I wanted the extra space for when my wife joins me on sessions and it's been an awesome bivvy so far. If you get it you won't be dissapointed but all depends on your budget. Hope this helps 🎣🎣🎣

Hi ! I recently got the one man version for pike fishing, I've not used it yet or even set it up, the plan is very soon to do my first overnighter, I've read from some people issues with condensation as it has very little ventilation, obviously in cold weather the risks of that are higher, I did buy the overwrap for it, have you had any issues with condensation ? and any general tips for using it? Cheers Mike :-)
@MarksCarpFishingDiary2 жыл бұрын
hey man, I didnt bother with the overwrap as i always have the door fully open or letterbox style if its battering it down. and it saves on carrying more too :)
@sedgy87 Жыл бұрын
Did you get a few nights pike fishing, how was it? Withstand the weather?
@ObanHighlander Жыл бұрын
@@sedgy87 had a few nights in it now, for the money it's hard to beat, keeps me warm and dry, would be nice to have some more air vents around it as it can get very warm in it, the groundsheet is rubbish, just a piece of plastic sheet, but then it's a budget bivvy, for the rest it's been good, no problems with it.
@sedgy87 Жыл бұрын
@ObanHighlander i bought a quest tackle exp 2 man, not used yet, which is the exact same as the fox eos.only It has an air vent on the back also and is 10000hh, got the overwrap too am sure it'll be solid and keep me dry. Hitting loch awe September weekend. No issues with the rain then?

@@sedgy87 that's my old home water, one of the most beautiful places to set up looking over to Kilchurn castle and the mountains, and some cracking fish there.
