Fox Farm | "DAYLILY" - dipa

Dry-hopped intently with waves of Galaxy, Mosaic, Simcoe and a touch of Vic Secret.
GALAXY - strong passion fruit aroma and flavor as well as blasts of clean citrus and peach.
MOSAIC - blueberry and tropical aromas, but is also known to have citrus, grassy, pine, spice, tangerine, papaya, rose, earthy, floral (blossoms), and bubble gum descriptors.
SIMCOE - strong, earthy aroma with hints of pine. They taste fruity with notes of apricot, berry, citrus, and passionfruit.
VIC SECRET - tropical fruitiness, with prominent notes of pineapple and passionfruit, along with subtle hints of pine and herbs.

Reviewed this almost two years ago, and really enjoyed it, as well. Definitely a very good to excellent beer. Not my favorite from them, but it's up there as far as quality goes. That said, I agree with you that I'd go with their "old world" style beers, along with their Farmhouse offerings, before the hop-forward ones. The few barrel-aged beers I've had were also fantastic.
