Fox is badass for doing this. This girl deserves all the press and attention she can get.
@EarthSurferUSA4 жыл бұрын
Why? Because she is a girl? This sport has never discriminated against anybody, and that is because this sport is based on the individual. If I were her, (and we do think alike from what I see of her here), I would be insulted by your altruistic comment. I don't think she would agree to the welfare you propose because she is a girl. I think she would want to earn it like everybody else in the sport has to. She is not a freak show. She is a MX racer who qualified last weekend, finished both races, and beat a few guys. I wish her all her best, but I would want her to slap me in the face if I offered her welfare because she is a girl. Damn, that would be insulting to any individual with their own spirit to live by. I enjoyed the video, and I will be rooting for her if she races on. But she is not going to make the podium on welfare. I will also admit, she rides better than I ever did, but so did anybody else who ever qualified for a national. :)

EarthSurferUSA first off just slow down. Okay. Next I couldn’t give a flying fuck how insulted you feel. You’re not her so your opinion is completely irrelevant. She did earn it like everyone else and I’m not saying they change any rules because just because she’s female and they haven’t. But if you’re too blind the see the physical advantages men have over women in motocross then that’s too bad for you. I’m just saying she deserves all the press she can get mean the story deserves attention because the odds are stacked against and she’s making history being a girl qualifying for the nationals. I don’t see Fox sponsoring and doing promos for 33rd place 250 riders otherwise but she seemed to be okay with it. If your against her special treatment maybe email fox and complain to them about how they are treating her like a (in your words) freak show instead coming after me. I’m impressed by her achievement, I think it’s good for the sport I think she’s brings great exposure to the sport and may inspire many young girls to ride or race.

@@seaeff6428 It's welfare, and your society will implode because of it. Glad I am older. Good luck, feeling sorry for a human being because she is a girl, (in this case). I bet she is faster than you. May be you need the welfare? Just leave the gal alone. She is doing great with out the welfare you desire for your self.
@seaeff64284 жыл бұрын
EarthSurferUSA You know I see your name on so many Mx videos and the majority of the time you’re doing nothing but imposing your opinion as fact on everyone like your doing here. From what I’ve gathered you just like to argue so maybe you start a law firm and get off KZbin. Is she faster than I am. Yeah of course I’m not racing the nationals so I’d assume so. Lol. I never said she should get a free pass or anything. I said she deserves press and attention. Meaning the story of her growing up racing turning pro and being the only female to qualify under the current ama rules. It’s a badass story and if you’re such an MX fan you should know the sport isn’t doing nearly as well as it has in the past so having a female qualify and giving that story press brings more eyes to the sport which brings more money and more sponsors and everyone benefits thats just simple economics. I don’t need welfare at all buddy I’ve done just fine for myself however if I am able to get my business free exposure to benefit my business I’m not going to turn it down just because some guy on KZbin says otherwise. If earthsurfer is a business and someone came to you to advertise your business for free I highly doubt you’d say no and if you would you’re a terrible business owner. Never once did I mention she deserves a free ride a free sponsorship or a anything like that. Obviously you could probably use some welfare yourself though considering you’re a middle aged guy who’s life has amounted to arguing over KZbin about someone’s story deserving press. Which I was referring to the fact that FOX gave her that press but you are too dumb to realize that. Again if you consider press welfare (which you obviously do considering that is all I mentioned) then maybe you should contact FOX and tell them that they should take the video down because you consider it welfare because she’s getting exposure she doesn’t deserve. Fox isn’t shooting promos for men placing 33rd and its quite obvious they shot this because she’s female so it’s welfare under your own words. Take it up with them not me. Fucking loser.

@@seaeff6428 Lets just stick to what you said, again: "I said she deserves press and attention." Is that because of what she has a achieved, or because she is a girl who qualified for a pro MX race? If it is because of what she has achieved, well, she has to do better to get the press she would then deserve, just like everybody else. But if it is because she is a girl, we may end up with "marxist woman's rights groups" and "tampon manufactures" for sport sponsors. hahahahaha That is about all I disagree with you about, (though I did not read all of your last post), "Why you think she should get more press, like a race winner". This is enough press right now. I know who she is and that she can qualify. Like you, I also think she can earn points and earn press, like everybody else. If she got more press because she is a girl instead of achievement, that would be her genitals getting the press and not her achievements. A bike does not slow down if you do not have a penis. lol Have a good day man. :)

I think it maybe means qualify in the top 40. That race I think she qualified 44th or something but got into the second moto with a few riders not racing the second moto. Still beat 8 people though. She's a beast only 18 though she can definitely get faster and she can for sure qualify consistently in my opinion. She was also only 12 positions off from 20th I don't think its out of the realm of possibility for her to be the only female to score points.

@@seaeff6428 Tyler Enticknap got a lot of press for some reason, lots of kids cheering for him on social media. He has since stopped racing, (this year), but Adam is still racing. I hope she beat him. I do agree with you on her being able to score points. If she sticks with it, (and if we still race after the crazy election). She has as good of a shot as anybody else. I bet she works harder than Adam Enticknap, and I bet she can beat Marvin Musquin in arm wrestling. :)

No offense, but I hate this woman vs man division. Big deal, we have different genitals. But we all have a brain that can "reason" if practiced. I would teach her to admire the personal achievement of others, (man or woman), and save the genitals for going to the bathroom and making new kids with great potential,----when ready. :) It is not yoga. It is not giving away your stuff. It is not meditation, It is not having a pet. Personal achievement: That is where true human happiness is. I promise.

This gal just qualified for the last national for the first time, finished both moto's, and beat a few guys. Wanna bet she is happy? :) You actually get the same happiness also, buy acing a math exam, having your own business, raising great kids, basically, just achieving at what ever productive thing you can dream of. There is one stipulation though. You have to live in a free society where the individual is protected by law, and we have to keep the free market in the citizens hands. In other words, we have to reject socialism/communism and embrace the founding of the USA again, or it will be very hard to actually become happy.

EarthSurferUSA Here you are again. Imposing your unsolicited opinion on people. And for some reason decide to start bringing politics into when all they said was “need more women to look up to” leave people alone man you’re ridiculous. There’s nothing wrong with somebody appreciating someone else’s character. It’s just an opinion they don’t need an essay on your morality, but apparently you do to learn to let people have an opinion that isn’t hurting anyone at all.

Notice her Dad raced, but I bet his Dad did not. More people should be able to get into racing, other than kids who have parents who rode/raced and have the money to buy a bike and put in the effort. More people period would get into this sport, if they could afford it on their own like her Dad probably did. You can blame the 1986 production rule imposed on the USA only by the FIM, and you can blame the 4-stroke forced on the industry by environmentalists through the FIM, for tripling the cost of a bike twice, and pricing the sport out of 90% of the market it once had. The height of a new bike today, (because of the 4-stroke), also turns off any new rider under 5'11" tall. Back in the 80's when I raced local stuff amateur, they had a full gate of gals racing, (called it "The Powder Puff" class). Today, the FIM can't even fill a MXGP gate.
