Saying it won't bankrupt them is not the same as saying it won't hurt. This is a large number and the news shows/industry is typically a $ loser anyway: networks have news just because, but it's the entertainment and sports that pay the bills. And there are other pending lawsuits currently and this settlement will encourage others to keep holding them responsible. BTW, it IS justice given this is a civil suit and the complainant agreed to this recompense: they are the ones that decide if they accept it or not.

Fox had 4 billion in the bank in December. A 787 million dollar fine does not fix the damage they did to this country. Fox makes most of its money from cable fees, not advertising. If you want to punish Fox for what the did, make sure you are not writing them a check once a month when you pay your cable bill. Call your cable company, if they can't separate Fox from your subscription, cancel your cable. Hit Fox where it hurts. It will be a sacrifice on your part but it will be worth it.
