James and Durant weren't saying anything that hasn't been said before by quite a number of people. My wife and I have made the same observation many times. We don't understand why people try to rationalize and defend someone who obviously makes divisive comments and lacks respect for so many people. A good example of this is how he gives derogatory nicknames to people he disagrees with. This reflects the attitude of many people who support him. I agree with the conclusion made by James and the ESPN reporter that this is laughable and scary. I've heard many people say this and spoken with many people who have said this, this is not exactly breaking news. It would seem to me that Laura Ingraham's comments are counter-productive by bringing attention to 3 more people who have repeated it.
