As another fellow said, cracking video, David. Of course, it was cold enough for things to be cracking. It's not just the farmer who appreciates your efforts; so do we. Thank you for that. Jim

A really nice bit of foxing , sometimes it's best to leave them for another night 🦊🦊🦊👍

Hi Chris , Well that’s number 2 I’ve left to live another day this week! If they clear off and don’t cause a problem, I don’t mind leaving them alone.

Hello HG, Thank you very much, you’re right, my Covid Hide is brilliant where it is overlooking that field, that seems to be the main route for our red friends. ATB David

Thanks Bert, Our red friend has been back each day at the squirrel feeder this week, so last night I shot two rabbits and I’ll be using them for bait tonight, and will have something with a bigger sting tonight in our hide🤞🏼🤞🏼👍

Well made Well shot. 240 yards etc must have been tempting. Remind me...what cartridge? (243, saw in description ✔️) You've got me wondering how to put a caller up on a pole now.... Thanks. Looking forward to next video already.
@predatorprotectionuk Жыл бұрын
Hello matey, I’m now using the home loads that my mate Dan produces. They’re 75 grain Hornady VMax. The pole is a useful tool, foxes are like deer, they don’t look up for danger😁👍

The Fox wasn’t too impressed either Anthony😁 The microphone on the scope is poor, the best audio comes from the radio mic I wear , I’m going to use that in future as the other scope mic is far too sensitive and overdrives the audio making it fuzzy. It’s just another thing I have to remember to turn on, in the sometimes short notice Mr & Mrs. Fox often give🥴 Thanks for watching.👍

New to the channel, great footage. Can I ask what setup you use please?
@predatorprotectionuk Жыл бұрын
Hello Stu, Welcome , and great to have you join me on my shoots. My main fox and deer rifle is a .243 Tikka T3 lite/stainless The mod on that is a Stalon. The scopes I use now are all made by HikMicro, I’ve a Stellar, Alpex scopes and a Gryphon LRF spotter together with a Lynx LH15, on the odd day I take along a spare set of eyes. I’ve a Lithgow Arms .17hmr and .22Lr, A Smith&Wesson 15-22 M4 semi auto. And 2 FAC air rifles FX Maverick FX Wildcat both .22 and my latest project is the AirArms TX200 HC. I only use Warne QD return to zero mounts on the scopes as I use the same scopes on all rifles and save the settings on each gun profile. If I’ve missed anything out, let me know 👍 And thanks for watching😁
