It's just a body, that's all these "special edition" versions are. You can buy and mount that body on a 4WD if you like. They make them available on 2WDs because they are the cheapest and most accessible Slashes you can buy.

I bought this exact same version of the Raptor and after having it for a while I realized that this body style doesn't do it for me. I'd rather have the older Slash body. To me it looks better. Is there an easy way to switch over to the older body and ditch this Raptor body?

Just picked one of these up. I’m super excited to get it out on track. My second rc was the original 2wd slash Svt raptor which was the first rc that I modified. Rpm control arms, aluminum knuckles and subframe braces, castle sct motor and esc kit, etc ;thing was a beast but I sold it. I had to get a new one for sentimental reasons and to race in the stock 2wd slash category at my local track. Also may use it for the novice oval racing as well

I just got one yesterday and it runs good and also took it out for bashing and after it I realized I needed to change the mesh and pinion gear that came with it for hard surfaces and hard landings and also top speed, thanks traxxas
