Hi Barry, I really do enjoy your programming. I had previously listened to your radio program (over 23 years ago in the Dallas, Texas market) before you started your television series. Then you moved your program over to a Fox Cable networks (you had to subscribe to cable service provide carrying the Fox channel in order to view your program). When I grew up in Florida, and later in Oklahoma, the boys, or the family could get together (even before church) and watch entertaining outdoor pursuits. It was readily available on non-cable televisions. I still live in a very large market of Dallas area, with many outdoor enthusiasts, and even with the switch to "Free" Digital television and nearly twice as many (40 or 50) additional channels to view, there is NOT A SINGLE television displaying outdoors activities such as fishing and hunting available on any of those 40 or 50 channels. You talk to the fact that the Game of Thrones, with its violence and sexual content, is one of the most watched programs. Many of those people younger than me didn't have outdoor television readily available, to have them "Hooked on Fishing". I had to pay Direct TV to be able to view the Sun Sports, ESPN outdoors, and even Fox to satisfy for outdoor "fishing, and mostly 'Marine'' cravings, which was created by my early childhood exposure to Fishing on "Free television". I think much of youths lack of desire for the outdoors, is because those that provided it to us on non-cable public television, decided to chase the bigger 'buck$" and switch to the less accessible cable networks. While you are available on youtube, and 'Waypoint tv', and that is free. People still need to pay for the internet to access those channels. Just something I was thinking.
