I am so happy I was brought to this channel. This brings me back to my first theater organ pipe concert at the Embassy Theater in Fort Wayne, IN. As it arose from the depths its mighty open chords (played by Larry Merriman), brought me to my knees -- as I 'felt' the Voice of God that I remember so very clearly. I am grateful for the ATOS's keeping this beautiful instrument in play.

I was fortunate to attend what was supposed to be the "last" concert at the Fox when it was in danger of being torn down. The organist was Lynn Larkin I think, may have spelling wrong. Then after it was saved, a real event was Virgil Fox at the Fox! What a showman! Thanks for bring this to us.

Greetings from London! What a fabulous organ this is. It's extraordinary to think that nearly a century has passed since 'Mighty Mo' was first played in public. She sounds beyond superb and shines the light of beauty in what are rather dark days here in the UK. Thanks to you all. Peter A :) :) :)

Would love to hear those 64'ers! 🌹please, more baroque with the muscles Mo has. Perhaps some Buxtehude, please? Forget which year it was, but most memorable was a 4th of July set where the Washington Post March was played. As a vet, I can tell you there wasn't a dry place on my face anywhere! Thanks to Ken and everyone at the Fox Theatre for creating this superb concert! The sound recording and camera work is excellent. The pandemic has been a terrible tragedy, but if anything positive can be taken from it, it's the fact that it has given people around the world the opportunity to attend concerts in other countries (albeit virtually). I live in Great Britain and seeing this video has certainly made me want to visit the wonderful Atlanta Fox Theatre, the next time I'm in America.

I've heard alot of organs, and nothing sounds like Mighty Mo. There was a concert in the '80's around Thanksgiving when Mighty Mo was sporting the 4 huge pipes never completed. Wow!! Anyway, love the organ and The Fox.

The company that recorded this was def sub-par. My dad recorded the orgAn at Radio City in NYC mamy times. He told me he had at least 150 micophones to record the sounds this amazing instruments creates. I remember going with him to help him lay cables to the mixer. He would have the performer play the piece a few times to know what pipes/percussion was going to be used. He recorded on (3) Ampex 24track machines that had intersync so he could mix down later. It was awesome to listen to after the mix. Also didnt hear much blow-by air from the pipes either. Shame these guys made it sound so crappy

@@rty1955 Wow! That sounds like a good setup for sure! Nowadays: Ahh, I'll just use my iPhone to record this pipe organ, who will care! LOL. I come from a recording background too. My Grandfather was a studio engineer @ RCA. He produced many of the RED SEAL LP's back in the day.
