There is a better way in my mind. I am no expert but if the insulation is on the outside, wouldn't weather affect it and also don't you have to cover it to protect it from the elements? What would you do, put panels over it or stucco?

Having the insulation on the outside is good because then the thermal mass of the concrete keeps internal temperatures very stable.

What a waste fo time. Just do a tilt-up wall and use adhesive to hold the foam and some cement screws with wide washers same thing
