I loved the story from "A haunting" TV series that featured the summerwind tale. I wouldn't rebuild the home on the foundations. I'd build a new structure near it basing off of the blue prints.

I live 35 miles from it. Beautiful here in the summer. Loooooong winters today is April 25 ,23. And it's snowy and 33 degrees....

Many people wonder if it could be possible to rebuild summerwind back to its original glory. I suppose Anything is possible. But, summerwind is a very large house and now it’s burned all the way to the ground completely. It’s been located in a very protected environment where it’s very wooded and off of shore of water. And in great reach to redo, parts of the house or the entire house all in 1 day would first of all cost a lot of money, to organize a construction/carpentry plan to accomplish that. Though most importantly, the concrete, the stone walls of the base of the house. Once they have been touched in demolitions, after 30 years actually more than 30 years, 40 years of neglect. Once they have been touched by demolition tools, the foundation would go slowly after a short amount of time. Which would seem unlikely that the house could be rebuilt, right at its original location.

We still need quite a bit we are looking for someone that wants to be part owner of a B&B. The go fund me has raised 60.00 so far and those donations are from us. No one wants to donate to someone else even if its a haunted house.

Why there is nothing bad there. There is nothing demonic there like the videos or dumb websites that post that. Everything that is there warns us when people are breaking into our cars and stuff.

We are still looking for a backer to help fund the project. We had some interest but not the full interest needed

Northern Wisconsin is my most favorite place in the world. I'll have to look and see where land o lakes is because I've vacationed on Madeline island on lake superior for years. I live in Florida now but I'd much rather be in northern Wisconsin. Thanks for the video!

That's funny !!! I live in northern Wi, 35 miles from Summerwind,,,, and I'm planning on moving to Florida..... Why ,,, you ask...... Well...... Today is April 25, 23 .... Snowy and freezing outside !!!!!!!! 34 degrees today ...... Its like November !!! Its been winter here since October 7 months now and it's still not over.... I NEED SUN .....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🌞

@@jat6547 You're going to love it here then! That's the one thing I don't miss, but after being here 10 yrs, I do miss xmas and the snow. All the winter decorations here look pretty ridiculous to me. Giant plastic snowmen and such. If you'll be by the coast, you'll love that too. My first trip to the beach I saw two huge sharks swim right by me. It was like something out of jaws. Pretty cool, but then again I've always had a fascination with them. I love all the dolphins and snorkeling anytime.

When I first moved here ( Chicago) in 1994,,, a local drove me by it and told me the story,,,, however it can't be seen from the road... My son who I raised here in northern ,Wi ( cold ) went with friends back in 2004 ish,,,, I did not want him to go.... He basically saw whats in this video... Today is April 25 , 23. Feels like November !!!!!! Like I say summer's are beautiful !!!! Winters can be brutal !!!! This winter we broke records !!! It snowed yesterday,,, and there calling for more ❄ !!! We're a week away from May,,,, we still have massive piles of snow !!! Sorry just venting ... 😃

Some times over time things from the past my have an attachment to the house or area. I do think that taking something such as an artifact or object from a site could be like an example of grave desecration. One time heard a lady took ivy from a grave and brought unwanted spirit, she got rid of it by breaking the pot with ivy in it on another hard surface.

Me and a friend drove 4 hours to come see this place yesterday and it said keep out and so we didn’t want to go in because we didn’t want to get yelled at for trespassing, if we were to go back would it be okay?

No its under contract right now to possibly be rebuilt. Its private property, not a public park or amusement area. It's not abandoned it is owned by a couple and the neighbors watch it and they will call the police if they see you there. The only ones that permission to be there is close personal friends of the family including us. I am glad you guys didn't go in there not to mention you were not even at the right driveway you were just at the fork in the road with like 5 other houses.
