Here in Tampa, Florida, there are nine drawbridges (different types) across the Hillsborough River. Platt Street (double-leaf bascule) Brorein Street (double-leaf bascule) Kennedy Boulevard (double-leaf bascule) CSX Railroad (single-leaf bascule) Cass Street (double-leaf bascule) Laurel Street (single-leaf bascule) Columbus Drive (bobtail swing) Hillsborough Avenue (vertical lift, eastbound) Hillsborough Avenue (double-leaf bascule, westbound)

From the blue brotherz to the westside of chicago i used hop on my bike early sundays to see the bridges go up so many moons ago me Clemente diana monalisa good days ahh with a real real cold bud beer oh yeah !! Tacos came later

Yeah Whatever with that Chicago has the Most movable bridges in the world, but yet have the most RAGGEDY, Poorly maintained roads I have ever driven on. it's like driving on the damn moon with those Craters(potholes).And to see folks out there happier than a child at Mickey Land about an ole antique bridge opening.. no wonder why they brag on Chicago, it really don't take much to please them. Instead of visiting Chicago, you'll come out better just staying at home watching children of the corn...
