The reason there was such a big, angry crowd outside was because they enacted new rules that you had to fill out a form and produce photo ID to attend the meeting!!! Then, inside the meeting, the Police Chief stated that "to protect against threat" any disruption - INCLUDING TALKING OR CLAPPING - would result in the ending of the meeting!!! If that wasn't enough, it's my understanding they shorten the public speeches section from 3 mins to 2 mins and had a deputy standing right next to the podium as an intimidation tactic! I've never seen such an infringement of Constitutional rights in my life!

For those that haven't seen what Henyard calls a meeting, it always goes like this...Tiffany spends 2 hours talking about all the good she has supposedly done, how she "luvs you and ain't nuttin you can do bout it", everyone's lying on her, then her Lacey talks about how much revenue they brought in with their bogus citations, then her other cronies talk about how the 4 trustees trying to hold her accountable are only being obstructionists and don't want bills paid, blah blah blah. THEN the trustees go over the warrant lists that they only received an hour prior (so they didn't have time to review) They approve the things they knew about and had approved but remove all the restaurants, first class flights, and the frivolous spending she did on the credit cards she claims were closed. Then Tiffany berates them for removing those things. Last is the citizen's comments. Residents better not clap or say anything or they will get kicked out. The comments are usually sprinkled with one or two "residents" that say how much they love her because she has cleaned the town up. (Funnily enough, none of the other residents have seen these plants before, in a town where everyone knows everyone) There, that is a tiffany "mugshot mayor" meeting in a nutshell.

It matters why the 4 trustees left the meeting, yet it's absent from the story. Due to the number of residents that weren't allowed into the meeting (no chairs/max capacity), a motion was made to halt the meeting and continue the meeting next Monday at the larger Park District room. The Mayor cutoff the clerk who rightfully tried to take a vote on the motion. That matters.

Even if what she’s NOT guilty of what everyone (Trustees, residents, business owners, former employees) accuse her of… at the very least she’s extremely divisive, mean spirited, self righteous and selfish. She’s never wrong and she’s very accusatory. The division starts and ends with her. Leaders are to be examples, have some type of humility, be willing to listen. She doesn’t do that for ALL. Saying you do and actually doing it are different things.
