HALL COUNTY, Ga. - A grand jury has indicted Hall County Solicitor General Stephanie Woodard on multiple charges of theft by taking and false statements.
Woodard's 24-count indictment, unsealed Tuesday afternoon, follows a year and a half of investigations by the FOX 5 I-Team into her spending.

Some of the spending sounds legitimate, or possibly legitimate. As for the rest, the standard operating procedure is/was being told to reimburse the non-covered charges. Only if she refuses does it potentially become criminal. This feels like an overreach for less than. . . about $4,200; that they could have just gotten back instead.
