@@Niki_P_ what you wrote, is unclear. 1.) Grant was for Macs, 'swag' (what's swag?), & vaca... So you are saying the grant didn't designate use for macs, swag & vaca. ??? Is that the funds DA & sheriff are complaining they didn't have at their disposal? Seemed she & sheriff was complaining the administration was slow on depositing the allocated monies to do hiring. I'm from the PNW, and really seems there is a bit of racism tension in the hearing. It IS hard to understand, without context. But isn't this about funds not being available for hiring, though budgeted. It's really kind of minor, considering the work, risk & productivity of these 2 'managers'. While it was kinda dumb to have an affair w/one's hired help, ....men attorneys do it ALL the time. There are bigger fish to fry....I didn't hear Willis explain why she used the grant funds for those items, I'm guessing it was because she couldn't get funding in time. ? It could be the Macs were needed for her newly hired team to be insync...to do the work of the cases, which the Election Interference case is massive, and would need major organization/insync.

Special Prosecutors are contracted hires, and their income for a period of time, usually having hours over 40 hr week, make more than a state employed DA. YES...the tax payers pay for the salaries.
