You know a game is nerdy when it takes 3 minutes to explain the 16 buttons you need to press in the exact order, while running around the map, in order to fire an anti-tank gun.

You forgot something very, very important... When you set your spawnpoint... DO NOT FORGET TO VOTE! Click one of the pictures on the right side of the screen and vote for AI, Rifles/AT/Howies or Obs, conc etc. This is very important for longterm gain on the frontline. Without your vote, engineers will not be able to defend the base during lowpop hours...

That was one of the hardest decisoions I made during this edit. But when I went to explain it I decided to leave it out. As long as you have your spawn at a base your activity will count towards the town upgrades anyway (vote or no vote). The vote only prioritizes one upgrade over the other.

@@FreerkHoltes As an engineer, I have to say it is critical, because people wasting their votes on bunkers next to relics on AI instead of Rifles/AT really matters a lot almost every time. Getting rifles on a border base bunker or a frontline is do or die in some instances. Hopefully people will read the comment :-)

@@MrNeroflame You wrote in your initial statement to "vote for AI...", now Freerk enlightened you how it really works and you still ignore him and say "...AI instead of Rifles...". Boy, don't get overzealous with your point. It doesn't matter! Rifles are getting teched so fast (less then 10 minutes), you'll have Rifles earlier then AI. Freerk is right in leaving that out of his video. Prioritizing some tech over another is something for experienced players/builders. Nothing a new player should be burdened with (you get 33% of his vote for your wanted tech anyways when he doesn't vote)!

Thanks for the detailed guide Freerk o7 I hope the Foxhole's infantry gameplay improves to a point where all all the well-designed infantry layout gets more spotlight instead of shadowdancers going around taking advantage of server issues.

the fuscina shuts down shadow dancer their dance ends very quick, its basically a shotgun with adjustable choke

clip is a term that can be used with the 7.62 since the ammo is in a clip and not a magazine such as the pistol ammo. a 3rd term would be "drum" machine guns use drums

some guns use the 7.62 "clip" but then get put into a mag. the caterena (forget the spelling) icon has no mag but once you load it it has a mag on the in game model.

Great stuff, and just getting into infantry myself! Though, at 7:34 , doesn't one press 'E' to escape a stockpile menu, instead of 'Tab'? If Tab does work and I just hadn't figured it out, blame my sub-200 hours of experience!

Usually there are more ways of getting out of menu's in foxhole. Tab and escape nearly always work, I don't think I've personally ever used E to exit out of menu's.

This game is weird. I stole a motorcycle with the Sgt. went behind enemy lines and did donuts, while getting shot and bloodied. Later I fraternized with the enemy. Then I then ran into Sgt again, and we shot a guy and took him prisoner while screaming "lu lu lu lu lu lu lu" and we took him and we did unspeakable things. wtf is this game.

Yeah, I tested this later, it will indeed auto equip. Doing the reequip will (if necessary) give you an extra empty backpack slot since one of the filters will be in the gasmask instead of taking up space
