The imperfection of his voice is perfect. If that makes any sense
@dannywolfe83529 жыл бұрын
Pure passion.

I think I get what you mean. His voice may not be completely hitting every note perfectly, but it's unique, and wouldn't truly sound like his voice if it didn't have those little nicks in it. And it also makes the song what it is. It adds a lot of emotional quality to it.
@EnoVembr119 жыл бұрын
Silent Soul Wikipedia says the definition of a "perfect" voice is if it sounds sexy. jk, but seriously...
@poopy_fingers33249 жыл бұрын
NaughtyNickers his voice is awful in this video. he is barely hitting any notes. so you are saying if this recording was put on the actual album - instead of the perfect recording that probably took many, many takes to accomplish - you would enjoy? if you say yes you are 100% not giving a truthful answer.

Everything about this video is perfect. The camera feedback when he screams in the second verse, his falsettos, his Weezer shirt, and even how wobbly the low e string is when he his that e minor chord.

My girlfriend and I went to a show in the basement of a dirty VFW in Minneapolis to go see Seahaven with a bunch of openers we didn't know. While standing outside waiting for the doors to open, we look down the alley and see 3 people standing in an abandoned field. One was playing the trumpet but that's all we could hear. We didn't think much of it and proceeded to have our minds blown at the show. The way that this band captured the whole crowd of 50-75 people in a packed basement and held their attention was something I had not seen the likes of. 2 years later and I still re-watch this video and think about how much this band has influenced me.

I wrote you a letter Asked your best friend to send it But took to the sea before you could have read it Retreated to snowcapped waters of the unknown Extracted my heart while it was still beating But glowing and red And I swear that sweat would Envelop your arms if you broke down and held it [Chorus:] I swear I'm a good man So why don't you love me back? Instead of twisting up words you just sat there in silence In wind burnt homes sighing rays from a sunset And all I could hear was the sound of the wasp nest My head made a home for the hum of the insects But my hands shake and shudder at the mention Of half hearted reasons why we'll only be friends

The past year I was getting out of a long distance relationship, when I met this girl. She really liked me and openly used to say it out loud. "I want to be alone, I'm emotionally disabled" was always my feedback. We used to cuddle at the cinema and spend hours together in her car through tarnished glasses. A year of doubts had passed and she thought I'd always be like that. I realized too late that I also like and even love her. She was a really good girl even tho I projected bad experiences over her. You get it? This feels more like her pain that mine's, then the pain is doubled. Bad timing. I learned to respect the space between personal events, there's no need to rush and fuck up wonderful things.

i'm just going to vent here: i miss him so so much, he's became so distant and feels like he doesn't even care about me as a friend anymore. we used to talk for hours, now it takes him hours to even respond. I try to distract myself from him but my eyes follow him around and everytime i think of things that make me happy, i imagine him doing them with with me and it makes me so sad. he's so perfect in every way and i just want to be with him and make him happy, but it (now more than ever) feels like this goal is unachievable.
