Tom tends not to use backleads, due to fishing at long range the backlead can compromise bite indication

Hi Tom awesome content as always, a quick question if possible, I fish on a small syndicate water my main line is 12 pound mono only using small lead but do I still need to have a shock leader on my line ? Cheers Gaz stay safe and stay strong!

You don’t need to hold your rig. Thread your floss with the maggots on through the micro swivel or loop whichever you use then tie off. No need to hold the rig.
