It’s time for a “Christopher Commission” type of investigation of the management of the LAFD from the top down. Hiring requires a high school diploma in the education requirements. Check into the education level of members from Captains all the way to the Chief. The “way we’ve also done things” seems to be the mindset of management determining decisions of daily/ future operational decisions. Spoken from a retired LAFD EMS member.

All city's are overwhelmed by calls and staff shortages but still refuses help from qualified volunteer fire departments for help mutual aid it's a pride thing I guess it's definitely not qualified staff or knowledge thank all first responders God bless them all and thank you.
