Many people are unaware of the political party that controls their State, City or County. The biggest secret that has been kept from the American population is the Democratic party. Under Democratic policies, the individuals who are being "governed" are unaware that they are being held in servitude status. Therefore, the Democratic party receives billions of dollars in federal fundings (profits) under the disguise that they are aiding the poor and disenfranchised, but in all actuality, the party is purposely creating welfare (single motherhood) and aiding in the mass incarceration of men (Checkout the Deadbeat Dad and 3 strikes rule Acts passed by "loverboy" Bill Clinton). This is the only political party that is totally against the US Constitution, which is derived from The Holy Scriptures, but nonetheless, explains why individuals can't possess a gun under Democratic policies. This message has been approved by a Conservative African American man/father

I love how articulate, and respectful this man is with his conversation. He called Owen's my sister, and she smiled so hard. Like people need to be able to talk about their opinions like this. I know a lot of rhetoric is controlled by the media, agendas must be pushed so they didn't allow him to fully answer. But it is nice to see people talk and communicate effectively without bashing each other or becoming aggressive. Specifically, journalists and educators who want to university for this lol like this is so nice to see. So much ignorance and hostility has become the norm because people allow themselves to get offended very easily, quickly. So I hope getting more diverse perspectives while providing accurate information with sources becomes more evident in news. As a journalist, it's imperative to our careers to provide real facts and information to the people... it's gotten lost in the money being passed around but hopefully, one day we'll get our news and information not so controlled, respectfully without hostility and, agenda pushing.

@Michael Cameron That only means that it fits certain parameters of a given circumstance in which it could be referred, but etymological terms are merely just that, a changing of a words meaning based on particular variables and narratives. Etymologically, the war on terror should be called the Third World War, because it fits all the variables, according to historians. But we will never actually call it that, because while it does contain some of the variables of a global war it also lacks certain variables like the fact that it wasn't a war against another super power or rich country, but rather against a country that is obviously vastly inferior in terms of military power. Alas: Xenophobia has an absolute definition but the etymological terms associated with it aren't sufficient enough to be used to support ones arguments.

@@melvynobrien6193 , No, Dr. West is well-educated. If you've attended college or university and have taken a philosophy, sociology, or humanities course in America, you know who Dr. Cornel West is. I can remember reading and discussing Dr. West when I was in college back in the 90s. I attended a large university in the midwest where only 10% of the student body was black. You may disagree with him, but that doesn't make him a fool. He's just older now, and it shows. The exchange between them demonstrates two different schools of thought. I think that was the point of having Dr. West and Candice on the show together. Times have changed since Dr. West was Candice's age. Candice represents a new way of thinking that needs to happen in the black community.

Did you expect Candace to become enlightened in ten minutes and do a flip flop for Dr. West? Candace offers hope by way of brainstorming new ideas and thoughts that the doctor has a hard time grasping because he refuses to be a student ! Youth is not allowed an opportunity to speak unless it falls within certain predetermined set of rules and beliefs. Candace certainly speaks word that go against the narrative that has perplexed us for the better part of 150 some odd years. The question is will youth and new ideas be allowed to shape their own future or will we depend on the same old people and ideas that have failed to bring justice or equality for all people? I suppose we will repeat the same old road of mistakes that have led us here by the very people who drove us here! I understand your respect for the doctor but our youth is the future let them charter the direction this time. Keep the status quo silent and the debate between the races of equal and sound minds and maybe peace and harmony will come to be without hate ,dissent and lies that have followed us to the same divide each time. the jobs are paying just fine. unfortunately, the economics of the situation is such that the lower paying jobs are filled with people receiving aid from the gov't, so naturally the wage will be lower taking that into account. if our welfare system were urging people not to habitually receive handouts, then the wage would be higher.

Were dealing with a plutocracy here, not a democracy...and if you don't believe me, or if you want to seek out the facts read the federalist and anti-federalist papers in effort to see how things were ratified in the first place. Yes, laws and agreements change all the time which gives even more reason to seek out more info as to WHY things change in the direction they do.
