I'm an addict and if I'm around other addicts it's very easy for us all to convince one another its ok to get high and having someone else cosign and say "Yeah let's do that" or "I want to too" is all it takes to jump into whatever the addiction is at that time. I also learned once a more serious criminal going to prison is like being sent away to crime university. Bunch of convicts together helping, teaching each other to be better criminals and how to maximize criminal gains and minimize issues with the law. I imagine it's the same for them.

That’s what I’ve been saying and it’s funny how, as a male, when I say this everybody just automatically labels me a predator. I’m in my 40s and my wife is two years older than me. It just goes to show how emotionally charged people get over this topic and just use an umbrella to define everybody. A 19-year-old who’s dating a 17-year-old doesn’t deserve to be buried alive like many of these comments insinuate.

@@SophisticatedDogCat I lived a few doors down from a “documented SP” with a bit of research determined that it was a case of a parent filing charges when the relationship was discovered between him, 19, and his minor girlfriend, probably 20 years ago. How sad that he is on the same list as a guy released from prison that committed horrible acts on an actual child. But there he is for every employer or neighborhood watch to despise. That is not proper justice. We have lost the ability to think!

Well in that new State, it was a felony and he was placed on the Registry for ten-years. This was 20-years ago, but his charges still say “S*XUAL BATTERY OF A CHILD* and doesn’t give any context. Funny part of all of this? His ‘victim’…is his wife!
