There are certain avenues that you must go through when you’re doing homeschooling and yes you must sign them in as homeschooling. There are legalities about this, if you just pulled your child from school and said that you were going to homeschool them, you were in the wrong. Doesn’t work that way. You don’t have to do K 12 you can do your own style of homeschooling. I found an online homeschooling program that had nothing to do with K 12. He’s in brick-and-mortar now for practice for college. “ you refuse for your son to go to the college? “What is that supposed to mean. It’s a decision on the student which by this time -when going into college they are normally an adult and can decide for themselves if they go or not. If your son is really good at a trade I’m sure he can make good money. But why wouldn’t you allow your son to go to college or be educated at all?

I know I am going to be attacked for this next statement but it is the truth: There is a time and place for freedom of expression and freedom of speech. Clearly, it is not the right time and place in the classroom. It has nothing to do with freedom of expression, it is a sign of respect. You wouldn't wear a baseball cap in a court room the same way you would not wear a hat at a funeral or when singing the national anthem. Its not a law, but it is an unwritten form of etiquette, manners, and respect. This is the way things have been for years and too say that we should no loner practice etiquette is extremely dangerous to the next generation of our country. Why do we practice etiquette? Because we strive to respect others the way we would want to receive respect back from them. When you see an older adult you do not know, do you call that person by their first name, Fred or Harriet? No you do not unless they say you can. Yo call them Sir or Mam. I know some of you might think this is funny, but its really not. When you start saying--showing basic etiquette is communism then you need professional help. Yes we do have rights and freedoms, but we also must take responsibility for those rights or freedoms. The way some people are thinking is that we should have the freedom to walk over others. Definitely not. Teachers and staff are not parents, but they are put in a place of authority. We can disagree with them, but as long as they are in charge then the students do what they say (within reason). Its not okay for a teacher to ask a student to do something unethical, but it is okay for a teacher to set boundaries. THat's not communism at all. WE respect our elders because again it is basic etiquette. YOu all need to et real man! Really you do. These are not my beliefs or opinions, but age old traditions that have been practiced for decades. If you think it is okay to wear a MAGA or BERNIE hat in class then I wonder what would happen if you wore it in court? Think about that one. You would be held in contempt of court, possibly in jail.
