I use the free camera, 0 key by default. You'll need to enable the console firstly to use it though. Then I use a controller (PS4, but any will do) to "control" the camera.

Thank you Alex, I hope that you're enjoying it. I'll be honest, I didn't really notice any flickering. Although it's a truck I don't use very regularly, unless you mean the popping? If so I do find that annoying. But I've kinda got used too it. 😅

I'm using my monitor with TrackIR. I don't use VR for ETS2, it doesn't run stable enough for my liking. Plus you have to lower the graphics to actually get it running decent.

@Jolly Jumper If you don't mind, could you share your settings please? I'd love to give it another go. Mind you, I haven't tried it since about 1.35 so I assume they've put a lot more work into it. I'm currently running a 3950x & 3080 so I assume that'll be more than capable. I know what you mean about it being hard to go back too, I play many other games in VR like DCS, MSFS and some racing sims. I'm just driving around Austria, it was recently reworked in 1.44 so I would highly recommend revisiting it. 😀

@Jolly Jumper Thank you so much Jolly, I've saved your comment on my desktop so I'll remember to set it up correctly. I'll be looking forward to trying it to be honest, VR in Assetto Corsa and other driving sims just changed the game for me. I couldn't play those without VR so I hope that this'll be the same. I'll obviously have to switch back to my monitor for recording the mod showcases and what not, But that won't be a problem. I'll be sure to let you know what my experience is like, which VR headset do you use? I currently have a Oculus Rift 2 which was a big upgrade from my CV1.

@Jolly Jumper I know, it's a real shame. I really wish that they'd concentrate more on VR, it could be a huge selling point for the game. But I assume the engine is pretty much at its limit as it is. I remember trying it out for the first time and being amazed that the cabs are actually full sized! 😅 In "2d" they look so small and you don't realise how big they really are. I'll be sure to try it out though and I cannot thank you enough for sending me all of your settings and info.
