Except this isn’t true. African Americans are one the most reliable voting blocs in the country and have been for some time. In 2008, 98% of Black women in North Carolina voted for Barack Obama. He won the state, and won the White House. What you stated is just another of the biased narratives the media tell white folks like that Real Housewife, and that’s why she said what she said.
