What’s fun about Halloween is the creativity. Pick a character that is known for notable traits beyond their melanin levels. I saw a white dude pretend to be Coolio (without any darkening agents) and it was funny as hell and brilliant. You knew exactly who he was portraying 😂.

Regarding the "Booty Patrol" story. I'm prior law enforcement, and yes you can be cited for impersonating, just by having the lights mounted on the vehicle. They don't have to be activated. And the suspect was actually pulling ppl over and issuing fake Booty Citations. It was all a well orchestrated prank, but it's gonna get them some jail time. I think the prank was hilarious, personally. At best, this deserves some community service and maybe a year of probation... I got out of law enforcement almost 15 years ago bc I prefer to actually help ppl, and not be a member of a sanctioned gang. So now I'm a medical Professional and part time Local TV personality.

How is that blackfishing? Erica Mena darkening her skin before that Jason Lee interview is blackfishing, those white influencers who intentionally keep themselves tan with braids and big butts etc to IMPLY that they are urban or non white are blackfishing, but imitating a specific person/persona that actually IS a TAN white doll doesn't equate to blackfishing. Funky is wrong about the blonde hair. Blonde hair isn't just limited to white folks. There are natural blonde and red hair born black people right here in the US and in the small town I live in there are 4 natural blonde headed black folks who aren't related at all to each other and 6 red/orange hair black people. As I said none are related to each and they are 100% black. Hair color is not part of a racial group it's genetics but hair styles within the black diaspora are cultural to black folks specifically. The same thing with eye color, it's genetics so when people use the argument of black women wearing wigs or certain colors of hair or even colored contacts that they're trying to be like another racial group is not a legitimate argument. I love dogs and I have one myself. I adopted her from a rescue. She was neglected as a puppy and was not properly socialized with other dogs. Every HUMAN who’s ever met her thinks she’s the sweetest dog in the world but as soon as an unfamiliar dog gets too close, her entire personality changes. The primitive instincts come out and It’s actually terrifying. It took a couple years of hard work just to get to a point where I could take her for walks without actively avoiding other dog owners. Now she will just mind her business unless an irresponsible owner loses control of their dog or flat-out allows them to run up on her, friendly or not. That has happened before but thankfully I have always remained in control at all times because even though she’s not very big or considered an aggressive breed, I just know that any fight she gets into could EASILY turn deadly. Dogs are incredibly strong when aggression takes over. Like it or not, untrained dogs can be absolutely MURDEROUS. So no matter how far she’s come I will always have her wear a muzzle when we walk and remain diligent about staying in control… because if she were to run up and attack someone else’s dog like that, that owner would be 100% justified in using deadly force to save their pet’s life…

Al - as a former educator, the 2nd teacher did the right thing by having the students write ✍🏼 down what happen. You can have 40 students in a classroom and there will be 40 different narratives of what happen. The written statement can help the families. Maybe the teacher that saw something was scared of the other teacher but wanted to help those students. There are many things to consider in this situation. No one knows how that school has been ran. No one knows what the administration was like. That teacher may have had to sneak to get those statements. You just never know. It will be interesting to hear all the details. Hopefully those families sue the school district and home school their children. That is traumatizing.

The Blackfishing/Black face segment was pure foolishness. Everytime Funky says "is there a world where..." I know something ignorant is about to fly out of his mouth. Historically we know what Black face means in this country. Celebrity or not, it is not acceptable. There are plenty of white people who have dressed as a Black person, without darkening their skin. So miss me with that.
