Francine is organizing very quickly over the warm waters of the Gulf and is forecast to make landfall in Louisiana on Wednesday. Mandatory evacuation orders are out for multiple parishes in Louisiana as state and local leaders urge people to prepare for the storm's fury.

No we got caught because the weather news said it was going to northern Mexico...far south Texas. Even the power companies were headed down there and the dang thing turned straight up to Houston and they said it was a cat 1 but it a almost a cat 2. They don't need to sue Centerpoint...they need to hold the weather guessers accountable.

For all those in the path of this storm. Go buy gas now while it's $2.74 a gallon instead of $4.00 after it hits. That's what it cost after Beryl hit. Gas cans are cheaper at Walmart than anywhere else.

When it hits Louisiana (if it hits us) the big problem is water, if the storm moves on out quickly then ok but if it slows or stalls, we already have water every where in the marsh and that pushes on inward and wipes out everything. What non-louisiana people don't know is that the marsh is like a big floating pad and moves around with every storm. Water ways shift open and close and move all together to new places. I have tracks on my boat GPS that are not there anymore, once was able to drive boat there but now its gone.
