Broken Silence Foxy and La Bella Mafia Kim were lyrically superior to their sophomore releases. They just sounded more gutter and hungry, to me.

All I know is that Lil Kim showed love to Foxy Brown before the 2001 shooting. Lil Kim brought Foxy Brown on some tracks with her. Who knows what compelled Foxy to trash Lil Kim after that. Jealousy? Bitterness? One thing Foxy could never say is that in the beginning Lil Kim wasn't trying to show her love. But after Foxy Brown testified against Lil Kim in that trial which put Lil Kim behind bars for a year; all chances for reconciliation was off the table. Foxy's karma came back for her eventually. Foxy herself got into legal trouble which landed her behind bars as well. You can't just do someone dirty who tried to pick you up. Karma comes to collect.
