Whatever you might think of them, it takes balls to perform like this, and they are just kids having fun with it. Spontaneous, fun, definitely missing from rock n roll these days, no?

My first glipse of them was San Fransico. Now I'm realizing they aren't as childish cute&cuddly as I thought. These are some pretty rowdy hippies. It's awesome.

Cute young guys recording great music live as they walk the streets of Paris, awesome! They remind me of the many British progressive rock bands of the 1970s but I guess that's the idea. The songs on this album are really nice, I'll need to check their two more recent albums. Now, if I can make a musical suggestion for their next album, steal Chantecler apples ("pommes"), they taste much better. And Chantecler rhymes with éclair and pomme with pom pom pom pom, it all fits together man!

+Le Dan Theman Playlists i feel like they were really really inspired to the point of borderline copying the BJM and a few other artists who were actually from the 60's(Barrett, Morrisson, Jagger) as far as their stage presence and perfermances go. However i fucking love their music and i think they can be a huge success unless they sabotage themselves due to over-thinking their aesthetic like most people who play their kind of music do.

I think the lead singer is great and it really has nothing to do with being cool. His voice is great and he does not care what others think and he just does what he wants, that is admirable. Oh, and the make up, a man wearing dark make up is always great.
@vancestephens5460 Жыл бұрын
Really? I think he's a phoney pretentious narcissist,, and it's obvious in the way he speaks and acts towards to the guitarist. The phoney is obvious in how in each of their songs he tries to channel a different psyche/glam rocker from the 60s + 70s and pass it off as "rebranded but original" or whatever. I like their music though, so I'll continue to listen.

So Refreshing, love the whole vibe around the band. Many a band have had to have a lead singer with the same care free attitude who ignore those who poke fun at them. Marc Bolan would not have made it without a similar attitude Bowie too, and the Stones they were ridiculed to start with and look how massive they became!
