Hello friends! In this video, I will show you our foyer makeover. We purchased this house over 2 years ago. It was built in the early 90's. Like everyone else, any DIY projects take awhile! Except for the floor, we have finished this makeover! Besides some structural projects, I will also show you some entryway decorating ideas. I hope you enjoy it.

Yes! I'm all for some neutral background so there's opportunity for transitioal decor throughout the seasons. It just seems like there's a Paranoia out there in KZbin world 🌍 about adding some color. And someday a lot of us will say "oh that was just a fad".

Wow! Someone who's not afraid to use color. I'm getting tired of looking at KZbin videos where they do everything white and neutral. It's like we don't live in a white world! we live in a world full of color. We should celebrate it as seasons change. I love how you are true to your style. I really like that color of green. Yet again you have done an amazing transformation! It is strange how we crave a little privacy from the outside world looking into our world. The simplest thing such as vinyl at the windows can make all the difference. Here in the UK we do similar to screen our houses from the public gaze if we are close to the pavement (sidewalk) to stop people peering into our houses! My little Victorian house is luckily raised above street level due to some front steps so I luckily do not have that problem. Thank you Jennifer for showing the full transformation. Love the green shiplap....love the mounted lanterns...love hte painted ceiling fixture ( I did this in my bathroom and saved myself $150 on the fixture and $75 on an electrician to switch it out).....love the fabric tape....great tips...helpful and wasy and affordable!

It looks beautiful! I have sidelights like your on either side of our front door, I need to try the vinyl trick. The Sherwin Williams Retreat is such a beautiful color. I’ve been wavering back and forth with adding green accents to our home. I’ve used blue for so many years, but I love the green too. I love the shiplap just inside the recessed portion of the wall too, it’s beautiful!
