Unpopular opinion but I think Trent is a DO NOT BUY and actually a SELL. If you look at him tactically in the Liverpool X1 he isn’t picking up the same attacking positions other than in that 20min cameo where Liverpool were behind. Also his XA stats are over inflated by some early chances in the season and that he was on corners as well as his last 2 assists. McCallister has now started taking corners from his side. Mac is suspended fwiw and I totally disagree his xA is inflated. The start of the season he actually already had a gigantic dip in his numbers and he's maintained it easily since coming back from injury. He also threatens bonus the most so I wouldn't be worried. It's not about how Trent gets his actual assists and using a small sample size to judge future returns, he still does things like taking direct FKs which provide value.

I was thinking to get sell Gomez Lewis and Bruno for Trent Timber/Gvardiol and Enzo. Lewis is on a red. Gabriel most probably won’t play. Andersen still not fit. My defense is a catastrophe. That’s why it makes sense to take a hit to at least have a chance of having 2-3 players playing. I have to replace Gomez coz I already have Salah and Kelleher

taking a hit out of a player who will play (Bruno) does kind of hurt though. Gomez will play imo so he's fine to keep over Trent for this GW? Lewis could be sold to Colwill imo. I tend to think Bruno is a solid pick going forwards so why sell and why not address issues with your team. Otherwise, you could hit in Trent if you want but how many hits would you take? -8?

The fact of the matter is for all the talk and analysis, what benefitted most people was the fact that the Liverpool Everton game was cancelled and Palmer came in as captain in GW15. I finished exactly 18 points below most people in my league because I captained Haaland. 😄

Planning to hold Lewis. Shipping out Ait Nouri and Davis to a Liverpool def and the likes of Robinson or Munoz in a week or 2 is the plan. I have Rogers & Semenyo as my budget mids with Isak, Wood and Pedro up front. The latter is annoying me for both mins & returns, but I just don't see a better value upgrade right now.

Sell Mbeumo and Gvardiol or Gabriel (if he’s still injured for gw16), get Palmer and the best defender you can afford.

@FPLFran Chose Rogers @ SOU instead. Lesson learned = pick the best asset/player despite bad form instead of being swayed by a pretty fixture. Thought NEW would've given them a tougher game also but maybe underestimated BRE home form? I feel I greatly overthink and struggle with benching headaches most GWs
