I also brought Hall in for that West Ham game and that has finally brought in some points. Bruno and Mbeumo are 2 players I moved away from a couple of weeks ago and they've hurt me badly. Been running with Jackson, Raul & Cunha up front. Raul has been really disappointing but an easy hold for the next 6. Cunha already out for Isak, and given my record of transferring players out before they start delivering (like Mykolenko weeks ago), Cunha is an easy hold!! Joao Pedro? What a frustrating nightmare of a player.

You said I should keep Gvardiol for the upcoming fixtures. This made me stumble across these sets of transfer: TAA and JSL to Huijsen and Jackson in GW19 to catch Leicester (H) for TAA. Liverpools fixtures from GW19-23 are tricky only Leicester (H) is a banker which I will watch. They also look worse without Konate. Could be a window to jump off and jump back on in DGW24.

Need your assistance this week.. a bit confused in the first time for a while Ait-Nouri, TAA, Lewis, Colwill, Greaves Saka, Salah, Palmer, Rogers, Smith-Rowe (yes I don't know why he's here still) Isak, Joao Pedro, Cunha 1 FT 0,0 in bank Ait sells for 4,7 and Robinson just moved up to 4,8 A bit confused on possible moves. Waiting for Cunha update (if he's out I am forced to a hit anyway)

Would you take -4 hit to bring in a 3rd playing DEF this week or diminishing returns?? VDB is injured so I'd need to replace Ait-Nouri with someone 4.6 or less. For the next 2 weeks: thinking between Wan-Bissaka (good fixtures, great form despite poor defense), Hall (one haul but so many blanks before then), or Colwill (only CS potential, poor attacking returns). Will bring in Robinson after that CHE fixture (don't have funds now).

I'd prob -4 to a defender you can keep for a while (Hall/Colwill). Should have lasting value.

@FPLFran , appreciate the reply - winning my H2H is a priority this week, hence the urgency. Is taking -4 for a defender typically a bad idea? Have you made some yourselves over the years that immediately paid off? I need something to gain advantage over my H2H rival. Wan-Bissaka and Hall have both hauled (15pts) recently this season, so that's the far hope or at least 6 pts (to be +2). Robinson is my long-term hold but I can't afford with 1FT at the moment. Would be my choice otherwise.

Hey Fran, assuming Cunha isn’t suspended, what do you think about Mitoma and Jackson to Amad/Enzo and Isak? I like the potential of Jackson to challenge Isak, especially over the next 4 gameweeks so might not bother with that one. Patience is running out with Mitoma, not too sure what to do about him. Could potentially move into Amad (I have 3 CHE so can’t go into enzo) and use the money to either upgrade Virgil to Trent or other moves in the defence out of Van den berg or Rico Lewis. What do you reckon, Fran?

It's certainly been a tough start to the season. Dont feel I've made any significantly bad moves but I'm still languishing. As a game you do have to take the rough with the smooth. Keep in mind there is a lot of attrition from fair weather players so it's possible to gain rank fast in the second half of the season. Just keep plugging away.

Hey Fran Current Team is Raya / Gabriel, Aina, Lewis, Robinson, (Greaves) / Salah, Saka, Palmer, Rogers, Iwobi / Jackson, Isak, Joao Pedro / 1.2 ITB Really want to upgrade Lewis in the future to Trent. Where would you get that money needed? Currently thinking about selling Jackson/Isak to Wood and fund Lewis to Trent. But won't sell them soon with such good fixtures. How would you fund Lewis to Trent?

happy to work around your ideas. I'd say get 3x pool in place for 24. Get the best budget picks in: e.g. Hall, Colwill, Andersen, Amad types. Salah Palmer locks. Could go Bruno or Saka.
