My plan was always to go Haaland GW2. Took the punt on kane for GW1 and should've listened to you about just going Haaland anyway. Would've scored a bunch more points and banked a transfer. Oh well you win some, you lose some. Did the transfer straight after the man city game to avoid the price drop/rise which caught a few others in my mini leagues out.

@@Emreishere0 Maybe, but we're talking margins and hypotethicals. If Sanchez held his line he could have saved. If Kane was bumped a little harder he could have gotten the penalty. The fact is that West Ham away is harder fixture than Southampton home. Also Haaland was subbed off, showing us that his position in the team is not as secure as Kane's before GW1.

The difference with City is that they’ve always had 5-6 players scoring over 10 goals a season. For now at least it feels like it would score atleast 50% of the team’s goals

‘Everything’ is too strong. Truth is, City didnt play their best game. But especially KDB has too much football intelligence to not go in himself and pick up on Haaland’s beautiful breakaways in community shield that was not exploited. That needle pass was nothing short of world class. The pen Haaland pretty much generated himself. That was the 2 scoring chances City actually had.

Remember, this is the gameweek when 100 percent of players are still active and playing with their teams. All the transfer numbers will be very high compared to, say, gameweek 30.

I think it was a bit of disappointment about him blanking but also the fact that Nunez is a similar price and probably the only way some could buy him is through transferring out Jesus. Also, so many people own him so the amount of people selling him might seem like a lot but in reality it's probably only a small percentage of the amount that own him. Also, there may be some transferring him out to avoid a price drop

It was always 50/50 for me, it was that West Ham game that made me um and er so went for Kane. I did knee jerk though as 0.09 xG in a side that won 4-1, for me is too much to ignore. It looks as though Haaland will have 5+ shots every game the way hey played. Kane seems to be the player to bring in other attackers this season so Kulusevski and Son could be the way to go instead, maybe strengthen elsewhere in midfield with the extra money if you can't go for Haaland now.

Shocking start for me! Captained Kane, went Rashford over Maddison, benched Zinchenko in favour of Perisic.....just got it all wrong 🤷. But hey, it's GW 1 and my team is strong with a lot of the usual suspects in. I dropped Kane for Haaland but I planned to do that anyway. I'm determined not to panic just yet but if I get avg points 2 wks in a row then I could be looking at a very early WC! 😵‍💫

After watching all of haalands games at Dortmund the last 2 years. In a couple weeks teams will play deep in him to prevent him from running behind. He’s not good on crosses with his head. He is improving on that but his strength is 1on 1 through balls and finishing with his feet

I went into game week 1 with Cash, planning to switch to Zinchenko for game week 3 when Arsenal's fixtures got better and Aston Villa's started to get worse. Still wanted to give Cash game week 2 after the Bournemouth blank, but price changes definitely messed up that move.

I think Kane to Haaland was just pre-planned from the start for many managers, take Kane’s matchup for week 1, then go to haaland after his subpar week 1 matchup

This is Why I started the season with Haaland and Kane, they’re bound to drop and miss points. It is Rare that if spurs score goals Kane wouldn’t get returns. But FPL is a marathon not a sprint, with 600k transfer outs, it’s literally just Panic Tranfers, which is something newer players need to learn to not do. I’ve been doing it the past 2 years, taking hits, and when premium players miss out. GW1 I got 69 points, with one of my 4 or 5 premium players being Kane. I had 0 intentions of transferring Kane from the get go, and seeing the number of transfer out for Kane just makes me want to hold on to him more because once he’s up and running, FPL players will be panicking to find room for him once again.

Its like they don’t understand what missing the boat means… i also have Kane and Haaland and unless either get injured they’ll stay in my team all year, cause they will score 25+ goals each by the end of the season, those losing patience from 1 game will have no chance of ever being good at FPL, Pascal Gross can score 2 again next week but hes not going in my team, cause he won’t get more than 10 goals this season.

Purely hypothetical, but which option sounds better for bringing Nunez in. £1m in the bank currently. 1) Jesus=>Nunez + Diaz => another £8m mid. Or 2) Diaz => Da Silva + £4.5m striker => Nunez. I'm leaning towards option 2, but not a fan of the flexibility or rather lack there of

I had triple Man City so couldn’t get to haaland from Kane without a hit but I don’t think I would have made the transfer anyway because kane really should contribute similar numbers over the next 6-8 gws and I don’t think it is worth a transfer

Honestly, im worried about my double lpool defence, they look awful in defense, especially on that left side where Zaha will go up against TAA. I dont think its too silly to bet Zaha goes through on that side and causes problems
